    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out, this is a great question!

I think you’ll want to check out our user primer on Event Aggregator here.

Long story short, that’s not how EA works. For our plugin, events are pulled in from feeds, so you set it up with the url to the Facebook Page, and all the events that the page creates can be automatically or manually pulled in. πŸ™‚

Please let me know if there are any follow up questions I can answer for you!

    Best,

    Hi Raymond,

Thanks for using our plugins, I’m happy to help out, and provide some clarification!

Unfortunately, at this time, it’s not a built in option, but this change could be made with some customization. I recommend checking out the following resources if you’d like to try making these changes yourself or to find someone to help out with this:

TEC Settings Overview (To check out the available options in the plugin)
Themer’s Guide (Help for making the changes yourself)
Customization Guide (Help finding help with making custom changes)

    Hey Maarten,

Thanks for posting, and for using our plugins.

Since the issue seems to be isolated to a conflict with your theme, I’d suggest reaching out to their developers for support with this issue, as we, unfortunately, can’t support theme and plugin conflicts on this forum. We use this forum to support issues with our plugins out of the box, as configured with the latest version of WordPress, WordPress default themes, and the rest of our plugin suite.

Best of luck with your project! I’ll leave this open in case any other users, who might be using that theme as well, are able to provide you with any tips. Thanks for understanding & let us know should you have any questions in the future!

    Best,

    Shelby ?

    Hey Martin,

Thanks for using The Events Calendar, I’m happy to help! In order to help, I would like to get some more information from you, if I can:

-First, if you could please test for conflicts by following this documentation? Let me know what you find. This will help me determine how deeply we need to look into the specific configuration of your site, or if this is a bug. πŸ™‚
-Can you send me a link to your site so I can see this firsthand? I can often be more helpful in giving solutions to problems I can see and interact with.

    Thanks!

    Hey Stuart,

    Great question!

Unfortunately, at this time, Eventbrite Tickets only works with one Eventbrite account at a time.

Let me know if there’s anything else I can answer for you about this!

    Hi there David,

Thanks for reaching out, I’m happy to help out here. πŸ™‚

    1. There is not a built in way to accomplish this. That said…Β You could possibly pull in a list of events very simply like this with the built in RSS feed at http://fragilex.org/events/feed/
    2. The fact that the information varies is something we should look into. πŸ™‚ Can you please perform conflict testing by following this documentation here?

Let me know how that goes and we’ll work from there!

    Best,

    Hey there Jay!

Great question, I’m happy to help. πŸ™‚

Good work so far! πŸ™‚ You should be able to write pass an array utilizingΒ the function documented here in order to get the event date. That’s about as much guidance as I’m able to give you on this. You can check out and search the rest of our functions list here.

    Take care!

    Hi Jorge,

If you’re not able to make CSS changes on your own, I’d suggest reaching out to a freelancer to help out with making changes. πŸ™‚ We have a pretty good list of resources for that here, as we’re not able to give very specific direction to customize the plugins on these forums. The function of the forums is to troubleshoot errors with our out of the box plugin features and to discover bugs so that we can fix them. πŸ™‚

Please let me know if there’s anything further we can do!

    Cheers,

    Shelby πŸ™‚

    Hi again,

So unfortunately, the best solution is to disable the caching on the pages where the shortcode is, or implement a less strict caching protocol. Are you caching with a plugin or is it implemented at the server level?

    Let me know!

    Cheers,

    Hi Stephen,

Can you try the conflict testing again with Twenty-Sixteen or Twenty-Seventeen please? πŸ™‚ Officially, I believe we don’t support Twenty-Fourteen anymore.

I look forward to digging into this more!

    Thanks!

    Hey again Alex,

    Thanks for clarifying! πŸ™‚

So, the fact that the shortcode doesn’t work inside of the theme’s sections properly, is considered a conflict with you’re theme, which isn’t something we can officially support.

We use this forum to support issues with our plugins out of the box, as configured with the latest version of WordPress, WordPress default themes, and the rest of our plugin suite. I’d suggest reaching out to your theme developer for support with this issue.

Thanks for understanding & Best of luck with your project!
