ParticipantHey Thomas,
Thanks for posting, glad like our plugin, & I’m happy to help.:)
This kind of request would require some customization. Unfortunately, beyond what we’ve already provided, we’re not able to help you customize the plugins or themes. Since the quantity buttons work well with the WordPress default themes and the current WP version, I’d suggest reaching out to your theme developer for support with this issue, as we, as I mentioned, unfortunately, can’t support theme style conflicts on this forum.
We have some resources for customizing yourself here. And, if you need to find someone to help with the customizations, we also have some tips for finding help here.
Best of luck with your project! Let us know should you have any questions in the future!
Best,
Shelby

ParticipantHey Hkan,
Thanks for posting, & I’m happy to help here. 🙂
I’d suggest reaching out to that plugin’s developer for support with this issue, as we, unfortunately, can’t support plugin conflicts on this forum, as it’s logistically impossible for us to test with every configuration in the WordPress ecosystem. We ensure compatibility of our plugins with each other and with the current version of WordPress and the default WordPress themes.
Best of luck with your project! Thanks for understanding & let us know should you have any questions in the future!
Best,
Shelby ?

ParticipantHi there Aris,
I’m happy to help out here! 🙂
While we typically don’t provide these kinds of customizations on the forums, it does seem to be a bit of an oversight on our part that it would order by end date, so I’ll see what I can do to help here.
I’d suggest implementing the snippet found in this thread (also added below). Let me know how that goes and we’ll work from there! 🙂
<?php $args = array( 'post_type' => 'tribe_events', 'posts_per_page' => 3 ); /* add our own filter to override what the event plugin. Using a priority of 99 makes it load after the even plugin has messed with things */ add_filter( 'pre_get_posts', 'use_our_own_damn_order_value', 99 ); function use_our_own_damn_order_value( $query ) { $query->set( 'orderby', 'meta_value' ); $query->set( 'meta_key', '_EventStartDate' ); $query->set( 'order', 'ASC' ); return $query; } $our_events = new WP_Query( $args ); ?> <?php while ( $our_events->have_posts() ) : $our_events->the_post(); ?>Best,
Shelby 🙂

ParticipantHi Angie,
I’ve double-checked the page, and for some reason, I’m not able to view it:

I’m going to be checking in with Barry to see if he has any further ideas on this one, as I’m pretty stumped here.
Thanks for your patience!

ParticipantHi Doron,
Despite my best efforts, I’m still not able to replicate these errors. I’ll be reaching out to my teammates for help with this one. Can you confirm that the issue is still present with the latest versions of WordPress and our plugins?
Thanks for hanging in there!
Best,

ParticipantHi there Angie,
Would you try removing, “https://www.facebook.com/BriarbankBrewery/” from your imports? The page seems to not exist, which may be throwing a wrench in the process and causing the rest of it to error out. 🙂
Let me know how this goes!
Best,

ParticipantRe-bonjour Brigitte,
Meilleur,
Shelby 🙂

ParticipantHi Alexander,
Apologies for the delayed response. I was out all of last week through yesterday, and it seems that this one slipped through the cracks of the coverage that was available for my existing threads. I’ll be responding inline in italics again:
1. If you go to http://profiwalk.de/events/categories/home/events/ and choose “Eventart” there are some sub-categories showing up (“Walking”-“Nordic Walking”…). Same in the categorie “Monat”, “Distanz”… You know what I mean? I want to bring them into alphabetical order.
You should be able to use Nico’s solution from this thread to accomplish this.
2. You can see what I mean in the file. If I choose a categorie it should be shown. If I choose in “Eventart” the sub-categorie “Nordic Walking” it should be shown in the filter bar.
I see, unfortunately this would require some customization to our plugin that is beyond the scope of support here on the forums. We have some resources and guidance for making changes yourself and some resources for finding someone to help you with customizations.
3. I think, I had it before but I can not see the sub categories “Walking” and “5-10” in the backend elsewhere. It´s a riddle for me?!
Can you double check to ensure that these aren’t hiding in the tags or something? Otherwise you could try removing it manually from the database, but I’d be very very careful going this route, and definitely back everything up first.
Please let me know if you need anything else on this front. I’m happy to help. 🙂
Best,
Shelby 🙂

Thanks for letting me know about this!
- Can you possibly deactivate all your other plugins and let me know if this resolves the issue?
- Can you please let me know what versions of our plugins and WP you’re running?
Answering these for me will help me better assist you.

ParticipantHi again,
Apologies for the delay here. I was out last week and this one slipped through the cracks with the team helping to cover my existing threads.
I think you might find this free extension helpful for dequeueing files. 🙂

June 16, 2017 at 1:18 pm in reply to: Displaying only one entry for recurring event in Events page #1299350Shelby
ParticipantHey Amy,
Thanks for clarifying! Yes, you can clean up your back end events as you describe, and you have a couple of options to do so. 🙂
- You can use Advanced Post Manager (APM) as we describe here to sort and filter your events.
- You can hide recurrences in the admin as shown in this tutorial.
Please let me know if one of these will do the trick for you!
Cheers,
Shelby 🙂

ParticipantHi there Oliver,
I think I may have spoken too quickly regarding your post. That certainly was a bug, my apologies. Very glad that the update seems to have resolved this issue for you.
Please let us know if you have any issues with our plugins in the future, and I’ll be certain to be more careful with my reply next time. 🙂
Have a great weekend!
Best,
