ParticipantHi Doron,
That’s good to know! That makes a big difference!
I’m going to check in on this one with one of my teammates who sort of specializes in WPML issues. Please let me know if you uncover anything else in the meantime!
Best,
Shelby π

ParticipantHi there Ben,
I checked into the bug ticket associated with your previous thread, and it seems the fix is still in development. I’ve added this ticket to the list and I’ve bumped it in priority accordingly. π
This ticket will be marked Pending Fix (so it won’t be closed). You’ll be updated when there’s a fix. π

ParticipantHi Cesar,
First, this was a great question! Second, we’re working on defining a more official list, but this is the rough one we’ve extrapolated from our code as of now. π
I’ll let you know if there are any updates!
Cheers,
Shelby π

ParticipantHi again π
Sorry I misunderstood on this one:
4. We have a plugin for this! Community Tickets π
Please let me know if you have any further questions about these items!
Cheers!

ParticipantHi Patrick,
The author calls the author of the page, you’ll have to define the event post first, and then call the author of that particular post. π
Hope that helps!

ParticipantHi again Russell,
Thanks for clarifying, I see the issue now!
Did you happen to perform the conflict testing that I sent instructions for with my first response? I need to know the results of that to be as helpful as possible in this situation. π

ParticipantHi Sarah,
Thanks for reaching out and I’m happy to help! π
- Could you please provide (privately) those development server details?
- Can you provide exact steps for replication and screenshots showing some examples of the differences between your two site versions?
It’s super proactive of you to catch this before it goes live, so I commend you for that! π
Let me know about those things, and we’ll get this thread moving along!

ParticipantHi there,
I’m happy to help here!
This feature is intentional, and is for security purposes. It could be changed with some plugin customization, but we wouldn’t be able to support the plugin once modified in that way. If you need help finding a developer to help you make these changes, I suggest checking out this page with some options and recommendations. π
Best of luck with your project!

ParticipantHi there Nick,
I’m happy to help here!
I’ll look into your specific questions, but in the meantime, I think you may find Barry’s notes here helpful. Basically, you can specify with our shortcodes in the meantime to display past events. We’re also considering adding this to our development schedule so it may be worth chiming in on our feature suggestion forum as mentioned in the thread by Barry as well.
I’ll let you know once I have more information about your specific questions about preventing the query. π
Best,

ParticipantHi there,
Thanks for using our plugins, I’m happy to help and provide some clarification!
Unfortunately, at this time, it’s not a built in option to change the view in this way (which you seem to know) but this change could be made with some customization. I recommend checking out the following resources if you’d like to try making these changes yourself or to find someone to help out with this:
Themer’s Guide (Help for making the changes yourself)
Customization Guide (Help finding help with making custom changes)Also, off the top of my head, your ideas seem like the quickest way to accomplish this, though I’m sure with the help of a developer, you could create something a bit more elegant, so it might be worth the investment. π

ParticipantHi Russell,
I just checked out your calendar again. From visiting your site and navigating to August in both ways you described, I’m seeing exactly the same result.
However, I think a screenshot may help, but it seems that the attachment didn’t come through. Could you possibly resend that attachment?
Thanks!

ParticipantHi again π
1. I’m sorry there’s not an easier way to add a sidebar at this time. If you’d like to suggest it as a feature, you can do so here in our feature suggestions forum.
2. I’m sorry, I didn’t understand that you wanted to disable it specifically for adding community events. Thanks for clarifying! This would require some customization, for which I suggest you follow our themer’s guide or hire a freelancer. π
3. Unfortunately, I have to give the same advice for this one as above for number two. Your best options are to customize the development setup.
4. We have a policy not to log into client sites for security reasons, so I’ve erased your credentials from your previous reply. I think that you might benefit from reviewing the new user primer for Event Tickets/Event Tickets Plus Β to get a feel for how it’s all supposed to work.Β If you can verify that you’ve configured your plugin after reviewing this, and you can give me some more specific issues you’re having, I’d be happy to help. π
5. Please send me a link to your site so that I can take a look at this myself, and I’ll try to help you out. π
7. Unfortunately, right now, we don’t have a good solution for this, though it is a highly requested feature, and it’s on our future development schedule.
Best,
Shelby π
