ParticipantHey Michael,
I’m happy to help out. π
We don’t officially support theme conflicts, but I think that dequeueing some of the javascript files may help. We have a free extension to dequeue some of our scripts that you can try here. You also may be able to change some of the compiling settings within Avada, and Β you can reference their documentation on that here.
Unfortunately since we don’t officially support theme conflicts, this will be a bit of a trial and error process to test this solution, but let me know how it goes!
Best,
Shelby π

ParticipantHi Jo-Anne,
Thanks for using our plugins, and I’m happy to help! π
Would you be able to send me your site’s actual link as a private reply? I can’t guarantee that I’ll be able to provide you with a solution, as we don’t *officially* support plugin conflicts on our forums, but I’ll take a stab at it. π

ParticipantHey Pim,
Thanks for using our plugins, that’s definitely a problem if your email notifications aren’t working! I’m happy to help out here. π
Because I’m not experiencing the same issue on my testing environment, this *may* be a theme or plugin conflict. Just to rule that out, coould you please work through the steps here to test for a conflict? π
Let me know what you find out & we’ll go from there!
Best,
Shelby πShelby
ParticipantHi Jason,

ParticipantHi Lindsey,
Unfortunately, we’re not able to provide plugin customizations on this forum, so if you’re unable to modify this solution on your own, I’d suggest hiring a developer to help. We have a list and guidance for finding a freelancer here.
The purpose of these forums is to support the out of the box features of our plugins, as configured with the latest version of WordPress and the WordPress default themes, as well as the latest versions of the rest of our plugin suite.
Thanks for understanding, and best of luck with your project!

ParticipantHi again Carole,
Unfortunately, we don’t have any temporary solutions as revealed in the other threads at this time. You’ll be updated if we have any temporary solutions. It’s good to know that the permalinks were in order, that rules out other potential complications!

ParticipantHi Juliet,
Unfortunately, if everything is working with the default theme, then you’ll have to reach out to the theme developer for support or hire a freelancer to help with compatibility. We’re not able to support functionality with custom themes, as there are so many variations of theme development standards within the WordPress ecosystem.
Thanks for understanding!

ParticipantHi Remy,
Unfortunately, modifying all of the thumbnails is the only way that I’m aware of to make that change. If you need some more complex custom code, I’d recommend hiring a freelancer to help out. π We have some ideas about that here.
Please let me know if you have any follow up questions or need clarification!

ParticipantHi Jessica,
Thanks for suggesting this. I’m going to check in with the extensions team and see about modifying the Divi compatibility extension to include something like this.
I will let you know what they say! π
Cheers,

ParticipantHi Jodi,
I’m so sorry that our plugins don’t seem to be a good fit for you anymore.
You can request a refund using the form on this page.
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do to help!

ParticipantHi Joseph,
Unfortunately custom code for such specific requirements aren’t supported on these forums, and there is no “escalation.” Our forums are designed with the intention of troubleshooting issues with our plugins with their out of the box features, as configured with the most recent version of WordPress, an up to date default WordPress theme, and the other up to date versions of our suite of plugins, and also for fielding bug reports. Even the bit of CSS that I gave you earlier is a bit outside of the scope of our support here, but I was trying to help out since it seemed like a simple enough fix.
Please hire a freelancer if you need any other help with customizations like this one. We have some advice for finding one here.
Best,
Shelby

ParticipantHi again Cesar,
I’m going to pull some of my team in on this tomorrow. Thanks for hanging in there! You can expect an update in the next 24 hours once I consult with my colleagues.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Dominik,
Thanks for the update. Can you clarify for me, do you have this issue when you have nothing but The Events Calendar, & Community Events enabled while using a default WordPress theme as well?
Let me know and we’ll go from there!

ParticipantHi Martin,
Apologies for the delay here. I accidentally marked this incorrectly so it wasn’t showing in my queue properly. That’s totally my bad, and I appreciate your patience!
I think you’ll actually find this article about custom event queries super helpful for what you’re trying to do. Please let me know if you have any additional questions about implementation. π
Best,
Shelby
