Unable to Remove iCal and Google Links

Hello —

I have followed the steps here to remove the iCal and Google Calendar buttons from Events Calendar, but the buttons are still appearing. I also tried the remove export links plugin, but this is not working either.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What a weird predicament!

I’m going to have you take a couple of troubleshooting steps as to why these solutions aren’t working:

• Please clear your site cache.
• Please test your site for conflicts by following these steps.
• Finally, can you give me a link to an event on your site so I can see if the CSS is rendering properly?

Hi Shelby,

I cleared the cache (though the staging area in WPEngine does not cache the site) and checked for conflicts. I am able to make the links go away in the default (2017) theme but am still having no luck with the custom theme.

Here is a link to a single event. This is still in the staging area:

Hi Juliet,

Unfortunately, if everything is working with the default theme, then you’ll have to reach out to the theme developer for support or hire a freelancer to help with compatibility. We’re not able to support functionality with custom themes, as there are so many variations of theme development standards within the WordPress ecosystem.
