MemberHey Marcy,
Thank you for reaching out to us! I’m very sorry about this issue you are experiecing, let me help you to solve it.
Can you please access your Dashboard, head over to Events and check if you have events in the “Ignored” tab?
If you have, please select all and delete them permanently.
When you move your events to trash, they are placed in this “Ignored” tab and if you try to import events that already exist in this “events trash”, they will only be updated and not recreated. I believe this might be part of the issue you are experiencing.
Also, as a side note, you can decide what happens to events on your site if they are re-imported by accessing your Dashboard and heading over to Events -> Settings -> Imports -> Event Update Authority.
You will find further information abou this settings in the following article:
I hope this helps! If you need further assistance on this, please let me know.

Patricia

Can you please confirm that you are using Google calendar private iCal address to import these events instead of the link you just shared with us (https://calendar.google.com/calendar/embed?src=shopdine49%40gmail.com&ctz=America/Los_Angeles)?
You can follow the instructions provided in this article to generate the private iCal address for your calendar.
Also, I would suggest you to keep all of your plugins up to date: as I can see from your system info you are running Events Calendar PRO (ECP) version 4.1.2 and the latest version is 4.4.15: since this is an issue associated with recurring events, the outdated version of ECP could be part of the issue you are experiencing.
Let me know if you need anything else in the mean time and I’ll be happy to assist!

MemberHi,
One more thing, I’m moving this Thread to our Event Aggregator forum as this topic is not associated with Filter Bar.
Let me know if you need anything else in the mean time!

MemberHi,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
That is a strange behavior as CSV imports only run by demand and can’t be scheduled (unless you were deleting events while the import was still in progress?).
You can decide what happens to events on your site if they are re-imported by accessing your Dashboard and heading over to Events -> Settings -> Imports -> Event Update Authority.
We have an article about EA import settings: it is a little bit outdated but might be helpful to better understand some of the available options:

MemberHi Joaquin,
Thank you for sending us further information on this! I’ve accessed the page you mentioned and it seems that the events are there, but they are being hidden by a conflicting theme or plugin. The class that is wrapping the hidden events is fusion-image-wrapper, so I would suggest you to run our Conflicts Test to further investigate the cause of the issue.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
I would start by deactivating Fusion Core as it seems to be associated with the hidden events. Also, I couldn’t replicate the 404 error you are experiencing in my own site, so I believe it might be associated with a conflict as well.
Let me know your test results and I’ll be glad to further investigate if necessary!
Best regards,
Patricia

MemberHi Steve,
Today I’ve spent some time reviewing your request and came up with this customization to assign Community Events to Post Categories. Please follow these steps to implement the custom code:
– To enable support for post categories to tribe-events, please add this code in the end of your theme’s functions.php file:
https://gist.github.com/nefeline/2ba493757a153d4a814e2a2ebddb5c36
– To be able to submit and edit a community event using Post Categories, please add the following template override to [your-theme]/tribe-events/community/modules/taxonomy.php:
https://gist.github.com/nefeline/fe8c4847db9413aaa38c169c4af96422
– To display the Post Categories associated with community events in the community/list page, please add the following template override to [your-theme]/tribe-events/community/columns/category.php:
https://gist.github.com/nefeline/adeac60dca2a8af3fd5281949386e6d8
With these three snippets you would be able to assign community events to post categories.
Please let me know if everything works as expected after implementing these changes!
If you need anything else in the mean time or need further assistance with this, please let me know.

Patricia

MemberHey Shane,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
We are sorry to hear about this issue you are experiencing.
As I can see from your System Info, you have The Events Calendar (TEC) version 4.5.9 installed and activated.
Can you please update the plugin to version 4.5.10.1, flush your permalinks and let us know if the issue persists after that?
To flush your permalinks, please access your Dashboard and head over to Settings -> Permalinks (no need to change anything, just visit the permalinks page: WordPress will automatically flush your permalinks once you visit it).
Thanks!

Patricia

MemberHi Romana,
I just noticed that you said that there were no errors in the Console in your previous response, I’m sorry I didn’t notice it before!
Please run the conflict test so we can verify if there’s a plugin or theme conflict causing the issue you are experiencing.
Thanks!
Patricia

MemberHey Romana,
Thank you for sending us further information about the issue you are experiencing.
Can you please temporarily deactivate all of your plugins (except Modern Tribe plugins) and change your theme to another one like Twenty Seventeen and let us know if the issue persists after that?
Also, did you open the Console via Google Chrome to check if there’s a JavaScript error happening (as recommended in my previous response)?
This info would be helpful to further investigate your case.
Please let me know your test results and I’ll be happy to further investigate your case!

Patricia

MemberHey Joaquin,
Thank you for reaching out to us! I’m very sorry about this issue you ar experiencing, let me help you with that!
I’ve just accessed your calendar and while visiting your recurring events I couldn’t replicate the issue you are experiencing from here.
Here’s one example:
http://www.cfcchurch.org/event/prayer-nights/all/
In this case your recurring events are displaying properly as I can see from here, and when I click on Previous Page, it doesn’t return an 404 error.
If for some reason you are still experiencing this issue with specific events, please access your Dashboard and head over to Settings > Permalinks for a permalink flush (no need to change anything, just visit the permalinks page: WordPress will automatically trigger the Permalink flush once you access that page).
If the permalink flush didn’t help you to solve the issue, please send us an example so we can try to reproduce this error from here.
Thanks!
Patricia

MemberHey Angela,
I’m very sorry about this issue you are experiencing. Let me help you troubleshoot that!
Can you please access your trial site Dashboard and head over to Events > Settings > Licenses, delete your license keys from there and press the “Save Changes” button in the end of that page? Repeat this same process in your live site as well.
After that, please disconnect your licenses here and then re-add them in your live site via WP Dashboard.
You will find further information about how to move your licenses in our Knowledgebase.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you need anything else in the mean time and I’ll be happy to assist!

Thank you for reaching out to us! If you are trying to scan the QR code using an android device, can you please make sure that it is logged into your WordPress site with sufficient permissions to handle your tickets? To be able to scan QR codes at your events, you must be logged into your site.
If you are already logged in and the issue persists, please let us know and we will be happy to assist!
Also, this article might be useful if you want to know more about QR Codes and how they work.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you need anything else in the mean time!
