MemberHey Padraig,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
As I can see from your system info you have Divi theme enabled in your site. We have an extension that fixes this issue you are experiencing:
https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/elegant-themes-divi-theme-compatibility/
Please install and enable the plugin and let me know if everything works as expected after that.
If you have any other questions at all please feel free to let me know and I’d be happy to help as best I can!
Cheers,
Patricia

MemberHi Brittany,
Firstly, I’d like to apologize for the delay in response. Thank you for your patience all this while!
I’m still not ale to reproduce the issue you are experiencing from here: I’ve just accessed your calendar again and switched from list to month view and accessed your blog page using different browsers (firefox and chrome) and everything is working as expected.

MemberHi Slade,
I’ve compared individual events from 3 different sites: your site, our demo site (wpshinding.com) and my local WordPress install (mt01.com). Here’s what I’ve found:
- In our demo site and in my local install, all featured images are wrapped with a tribe-events-event-image class and (as you already noticed), the images URLs are absolute. In your site, featured images are not wrapped in this class and the URLs are relative.
Screenshots:
I believe this could be associated with a theme conflict or a customization. If you temporarily change your theme to Twenty Seventeen in your staging site, is your featured image wrapped in the tribe-events-event-image class? Are you able to import the event with the featured image after this change? Let me know your test results!
Let me know if you have any other questions and I’ll be happy to assist!
Happy holidays 🙂

MemberHi there,
The snippet is working properly in my local WordPress install. Could you please make sure that:
- You are adding the snippet in your theme’s functions.php file or in your own custom plugin?
- Also, please purge your site cache and your browser cache after this change.
thanks,
Patricia

MemberHey Joanna,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
If you simply change the title of an existing post, page or event in WordPress, it won’t automatically update the permalink. I know there are plugins that can make this change for you, but it’s not an out-of-the-box feature in The Events Calendar.
If you duplicate an event and change it’s title, you’ll have to update the permalink for that specific event as well.
If you have any other questions at all please feel free to let me know and I’d be happy to help as best I can!

MemberHey Simon,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
To get started, could you please make sure that all of your plugins are up-to-date? This sounds like a js conflict so if the issue persists after the update I would recommend you to:
- Open up your browser’s console and see if there are any relevant errors.
-
Run a Conflicts Test. You can start the test by temporarily deactivating all of your plugins (except Modern Tribe plugins) and changing your theme to another one like Twenty Seventeen and check if the problem is solved after that (don’t forget to backup your database before changing anything).
Let me know your test results! If you have any other questions in the mean time please feel free to let me know and I’d be happy to help as best I can!
Cheers,

MemberHey Brittany,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
I’ve just accessed your calendar on https://www.familyfunaz.com/events/category/chandler/list/ , changed from list to month view and wasn’t able to reproduce the issue you are experiencing.
This issue is often caused by corrupted caching or cookies. Have you tried accessing the site after clearing your browser cache and cookies? If you access the site using different browsers or in an incognito window, is the problem solved?
Best Regards,
Patricia

MemberHi Elza,
I’m really sorry to hear that!
Could you please send us the complete error you get while enabling the plugin? To check the error you’ll have to enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG. All WP_DEBUG messages will be stored in a debug.log file in /wp-content.
I would also recommend you to run a Conflicts Test to make sure that this error is specifically associated with the plugin and not a conflict with other scripts. You can start the test by temporarily deactivating all of your plugins (except Modern Tribe plugins) and changing your theme to another one like Twenty Seventeen and let us know if the problem is solved after that (don’t forget to backup your database before changing anything).
Let me know your test results and if you have any other questions in the meantime, please feel free to let me know and I’d be happy to help as best I can!
Cheers,
Patricia
