MemberHi Frank,
Thanks for stopping by! It sounds like you’ll want to pair one of our core calendar plugins (either The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO) with the add-on Community Events, which allows for non-administrators to submit events to your site calendar. This will allow you to have other churches create user accounts and submit events, and submitters will only be able to edit their own events on the master calendar. If you’d like to have separate calendar views for each church’s submissions, you can simply have each church’s events assigned to a different category, then link to the category itself to see a full calendar of just that category’s events. You can see how this works in practice with this view of a single category on our WP Shindig demo site!
I hope this explanation helps to give you a sense of what’s possible here! Let me know if you should have any other questions about this setup–I’d be more than glad to clarify further. Cheers, and thanks again! 🙂

MemberHi Sven,
Thanks for getting in touch! 🙂 As it turns out, we do have exactly such an option for logged-in users to view their RSVPs and/or purchased tickets on your site. You can learn more about this feature and how to implement it on our Knowledgebase here!
Regarding your second question, I’m afraid that we don’t have a built-in option for one-click ordering at this time. However, if a logged-in user adds a paid ticket to their cart, their purchase information (such as name and address) will be automatically filled in when they proceed to checkout, though this doesn’t apply to additional attendee information fields (which are filled in before checkout).
I hope that helps to answer your questions here! Thanks again, and let us know if there’s anything else that we can assist with!

MemberHi Magnus,
Thanks so much for getting in touch! I’m afraid that we’re not equipped to provide technical support for current plugin users here in our pre-sales forum. We’d be more than happy to assist you at one of the following locations:
- If you’re using one or more of our free plugins such as The Events Calendar and Event Tickets, you can request assistance on the WordPress.org support forum for the affected product.
- If you’re a current license holder for one of our premium offerings, please log in to your account and submit a post to the appropriate forum for the affected product.
If you can, please take the time to confirm in your post that you’ve run through our conflict testing steps prior to contacting us–this will save us a step and help us to get your issue resolved that much quicker! 🙂
Thanks again, and we’ll see you in the forums!

MemberHi there,
Thanks for taking the time to stop by and check out our plugins! I’m afraid that a number of the features your setup requires aren’t available with our plugins out of the box–we don’t currently offer support for per-day bookings for multi-day events, ticket add-ons, or file uploads for gathering attendee information. That being said, many or all of these features should be achievable with some level of custom development! If this is an option you might be interested in exploring, I’d suggest beginning with our list of third-party developers who work with our plugins. We’d also love to have you share your feature suggestions over on our UserVoice forum, which will get them on our development team’s radar and allow other users to vote and share their comments.
I’m so sorry to be the bearer of bad news here, but we do appreciate you paying us a visit! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to let us know if there’s anything else that we can do for you!

MemberHi PJ,
Thanks for taking the time to get in touch, and I’m so sorry for the trouble here. It looks like you’ve also contacted us regarding this issue via email, and your purchase has already been refunded, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread out. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with a new thread if there’s anything else that we can do for you!

MemberHi Heather,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out–happy to clarify this a bit for you! Our lack of recurring ticket functionality applies to both RSVPs and paid tickets created using Event Tickets Plus, and it means that any tickets that are added to a recurring event series will apply to the entire series. There is no differentiation between different days in the series, so a ticket that is purchased for day 3 will still appear as though it was reserved for day 1. Based on your summer camp example, it seems like this may be what you intend to do anyway, so you might not have a problem with this current behavior! I’d suggest purchasing Events Calendar PRO to test this functionality and see if it might work for your needs. If you should find that the behavior isn’t what you expected, we’re always happy to process refunds within our 30-day refund window.
I hope that helps to answer your question here! Thanks again, and don’t hesitate to let me know if there’s anything else that I can assist you with! 🙂

MemberHi Dan,
Thanks for stopping by and having a look at our plugins! 🙂 We’ve designed all of our plugins, including Events Calendar PRO and Event Tickets Plus, from the ground up to be as flexible as possible for a wide variety of use cases. Depending on the setup you’re envisioning here, you should have no problems using either or both of these plugins to sell slots for short courses–tickets can be attached to any post, page, or custom post type (such as a calendar event) of your choosing, and Knowledgebase articles such as this one provide more information on how you can change the plugin text to remove references to “tickets”. I’d be glad to answer any specific questions you might have about how to make your desired setup work with our products! 🙂
I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Lars,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out, and I’m so sorry to hear that you’re having issues with Google Maps on your site. Would you be so kind as to open a new thread with as many details as you can provide on your issue? One of our team members will be more than glad to take a closer look and see what they can do to assist! I’m going to go ahead and close this thread, since the original poster appears to have had their problem resolved–we’ll see you over in your new thread! 🙂

MemberHi Mike,
Great, so glad to hear it! You’re very welcome–and no, you shouldn’t need to remove it when the final fix is available, but you certainly can if you’d prefer to keep things tidy in your custom CSS file. 🙂
Since it looks like you’re all sorted by now, I’m going to go ahead and close this thread out, if that’s alright! Please don’t hesitate to follow up with a new thread if there’s anything else that we can do to assist. Thanks again, and have a great rest of your week!

MemberHi Alex,
How strange–but glad to hear that things seem to be working well on your end, either way! 🙂 Since it looks like you’re all sorted by now, I’m going to go ahead and close this thread out to keep things moving along. Please don’t hesitate to follow up with a new thread if there’s anything else that we can do to assist! Cheers, and thanks again for stopping by!

MemberHi Janet,
Thanks so much for following up with those screencaps–they’re a great help! It appears that you may have mistakenly installed the third-party plugin WP Event Aggregator alongside our plugin The Events Calendar. Our product Event Aggregator (no “WP”) is a set of tools bundled with The Events Calendar and does not come packaged as a separate downloadable plugin. I’d suggest going ahead and deactivating WP Event Aggregator to ensure that there are no conflicts with our plugins once you begin to import events!
Moving forward from there, you can access the full set of import functions available with Event Aggregator under Events > Imports in your WordPress sidebar. Our new user primer for Event Aggregator provides more details and step-by-step instruction on how to set up Event Aggregator and begin importing events into your calendar. Please give it a look over, and let us know if you should have any questions as you’re getting started!

I hope that helps to resolve your issues here! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions or concerns!

MemberHi Mike,
Thanks so much for waiting! I’ve gone ahead and updated our bug ticket with some more information here, and an official fix is currently pending–in the meantime, I’ve pushed a temporary CSS “patch” to our WP Shindig demo site to resolve the issue there. If you’d like to add this CSS to your site, as well, you can use the following:
.tribe-mini-calendar-event .list-date .list-dayname { box-sizing: border-box; }Simply add this CSS to a new CSS file as detailed in our Knowledgebase article here, and you should see the change reflected immediately on your site once the file has been saved.
I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Janet,
I’m sorry to hear that you’ve had some difficulties connecting with support via email. In reviewing our email records at support at theeventscalendar dot com, it appears that we did not receive any messages from your email address on file. If you’d like to attempt sending your message again to this support email, we’d be more than glad to review your images and follow up with you here! Or, if you’d prefer to simply receive a refund at this time, let me know, and I’ll go ahead and process that for you.
Thank you!

MemberHi Mike,
Very interesting–thanks for sharing a link to another example of this problem in the wild! It’s quite possible that a version of the older bug may still be present for certain non-default WordPress themes, in this case. I’ll add this data to our existing bug ticket and will reach out to our development team for further insights! I’ll follow up with you before the end of the week with some more information (but please don’t hesitate to post another reply here if you haven’t heard back by Friday afternoon). 🙂
Thanks again, and we’ll be in touch!
