    I am a little confused about recurring events in the Pro version of Event Tickets. We’ve been using the Event Tickets to have people sign up for library programs, but would like to customize what fields we capture on sign-up (particularly phone numbers). We were going to purchase the Pro version for this functionality, but I noticed the warning that the Pro version will not sell tickets for recurring events. Does this mean if the events COST something and require payment? Our programs we need the registration for are all free. Will it allow someone to sign up for a series of programs? (i.e. sign up one time to come to a 3-day summer camp). We’ve been using this function already in the regular version, and are concerned that it might not be available in the Pro version. Thanks!

    Hi Heather,

    Thanks for taking the time to reach out–happy to clarify this a bit for you! Our lack of recurring ticket functionality applies to both RSVPs and paid tickets created using Event Tickets Plus, and it means that any tickets that are added to a recurring event series will apply to the entire series. There is no differentiation between different days in the series, so a ticket that is purchased for day 3 will still appear as though it was reserved for day 1. Based on your summer camp example, it seems like this may be what you intend to do anyway, so you might not have a problem with this current behavior! I’d suggest purchasing Events Calendar PRO to test this functionality and see if it might work for your needs. If you should find that the behavior isn’t what you expected, we’re always happy to process refunds within our 30-day refund window.
