Multiple Calendars

Does the plugin allow for multiple calendars? I will have a number of churches adding events to their calendars and need either a filter to show only their entries or a unique calendar for each church and security so they can only ADD/EDIT/DELETE their events and not others. I am looking for a plugin that can do these things. Thank you, Frank

Hi Frank,

Thanks for stopping by! It sounds like you’ll want to pair one of our core calendar plugins (either The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO) with the add-on Community Events, which allows for non-administrators to submit events to your site calendar. This will allow you to have other churches create user accounts and submit events, and submitters will only be able to edit their own events on the master calendar. If you’d like to have separate calendar views for each church’s submissions, you can simply have each church’s events assigned to a different category, then link to the category itself to see a full calendar of just that category’s events. You can see how this works in practice with this view of a single category on our WP Shindig demo site!
