MemberHi Steve,
Of course; you’re so very welcome! đ Since you’ve gone ahead and marked this thread as resolved, I’m going to close it out to keep things moving along. Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up with a new thread if there’s anything else that we can do to assist!

MemberHi Tim,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m afraid that bookings of this type such as seat/table/room reservations are not supported by any of our plugins, nor are they slated as additions for the foreseeable future. I’m so sorry to disappoint! You can read more about our decision on our UserVoice page for this feature suggestion here. If you require this type of functionality for your site and wish to pair it with our calendar plugins, I’d suggest looking into a third-party developer who may be able to assist with building out this feature as a custom project.
Again, I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news here–we’re grateful for your continued interest in our products, and we hope we’ll have the chance to work with you on another project very soon! Cheers, and thanks again for stopping by! đ

MemberHi John,
Thanks for getting in touch! If you have full credentials for your vendor’s account for TheEventsCalendar.com, you can log in at any time to pay for plugin renewals, even after licensing has expired (and you can change the email address on file to your own, if needed). However, if you’re lacking the necessary credentials to perform this login, we can assist with manually reassigning the email address on file with the previous account holder’s written permission. If you should need assistance with this, you can reach out to us via email using the email form provided here.
I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi there,
Thanks so much for your interest in our plugins–happy to help clarify this for you! We’re still in the process of exploring options for adding different URL structures to our staging site validation tools, though we don’t have any new information to report at this time. I can confirm, however, that using a single license key across your staging and live environments will work just fine with WP Engine (or any other staging environment of your choice). We have a great post from one of our support team members, George, that sheds a bit more light on the subject:
Hopefully these details will help to set your mind at ease a bit! Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you should have any other questions here. Cheers, and thanks again for stopping by! đ

MemberHi Mike,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m afraid that our calendar plugins The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO make use of their own custom post type for storing event data, and we don’t currently offer a means for placing other post types onto calendars at this time. If you’re able to export your custom post type data to CSV format, you might consider bringing in your existing data this way–you can read more about CSV imports using The Events Calendar on our Knowledgebase here.
I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Tom,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out! No worries–I’d be more than happy to help clarify your options for this type of setup here!
For creating multiple-day events with our plugins, you have two options:
- You can create an event that spans the entire range of days with no gaps, specifying the opening and closing times for each day in the event description (or elsewhere). This option is less precise, but it works for both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO, and tickets can be easily created for the event.
- You can create an event series using Events Calendar PRO so that your event repeats for the exact set of dates and times that you specify. This option will display with more accurate information on your main calendar views, but event series functionality is only supported with Events Calendar PRO. Additionally, recurring event tickets are not yet supported with Event Tickets or Event Tickets Plus, so tickets that are created for event series will apply to the entire series regardless of which day the ticket is purchased for. This may not be an issue for single events that span multiple days, but it can be problematic if you’re selling tickets for, say, different occurrences of an event that happens once a week.
Does that help to shed some light on your options here? Let me know if you should have any questions about either approach! Cheers, and thanks again for stopping by! đ

MemberHi Steve,
Thanks for reaching out! Our plugins should work well on nearly any type of Apache-based server configuration that permits a standard WordPress install, including cloud-based servers, LAMP stacks, and other development-oriented servers. Once you’re finished developing in the cloud, you can simply disconnect your license key from the old server and activate it on your live site. You can read more about how to use one license key between development/staging and live on our Knowledgebase here.
I hope that helps to address your concerns here! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Felix,
Thanks so much for getting in touch! I’m afraid that we’re not equipped to provide technical support for current plugin users here in our pre-sales forum. It sounds as though you’re a current use of Events Calendar PRO–would you please take a moment to log in to your account and submit a post to our Events Calendar PRO forum? One of our support team members will follow up to continue the conversation right away!
If you can, please take the time to confirm in your post that you’ve run through our conflict testing steps prior to contacting us–this will save us a step and help us to get your issue resolved that much quicker! đ
Thanks again, and we’ll see you in the premium forums!

MemberHi there,
Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out our plugins! I’m sorry to say that none of our plugins include CSV import functionality for front-end users at this time. đ At the moment, user-submitted events are only supported as single event submissions using our Community Events plugin. However, if you only need this functionality for specific users, you might consider creating a user role for these users to access portions of your WordPress backend, granting them permissions for the CSV import tool but restricting their access to other portions of the backend. This can be accomplished using a third-party plugin such as User Role Editor to set individual permissions for specific user roles. We aren’t affiliated with this plugin in any way and can’t provide any direct support for its features, but I can confirm that some of our users have applied it to similar tasks with great success! đ
I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again for reaching out, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Mary,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here! It sounds like the unofficial add-on The Events Calendar Category Colors might be just what you’re looking for to achieve this functionality. You can read more about it and find links to downloads and documentation on our Knowledgebase here. (Please note that this is not an official add-on produced and developed by Modern Tribe, so we’re unable to provide hands-on support for any issues that may occur with its use–but we think you’ll find that it’s very stable and user-friendly!)
I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Angela,
Thanks for reaching out, and I’m so sorry for the trouble here! This error message can sometimes occur when a license key for one of our other products, such as Events Calendar PRO, is entered into the license key field for Event Aggregator. Please ensure that you’ve installed the Events Calendar PRO plugin alongside the free version of The Events Calendar and entered your license key into the field that appears for Events Calendar PRO after installing and activating the plugin. You can find directions for setting up Events Calendar PRO on our New User Primer here on our Knowledgebase.
I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again for your support, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if there’s anything else that we can assist with!

MemberHi James,
Thanks for getting in touch! Events created using The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO can be easily exported and brought into the calendar application of your choice, including Outlook. Simply click on any event in your calendar to bring up the single event view, then click the iCal Export button to download an ICS file that can be imported directly into Outlook. You can test this behavior with an event on our WP Shindig demo site right here!
I hope that helps! Thanks again, and don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Kim,
Thanks so much for your interest in our plugins! You can add this functionality to either of our core calendar plugins (The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO) with the Community Events add-on. You’ll find more information about the plugin and its various features on the linked product page–give it a look over, and don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions! đ
Cheers, and thanks again for stopping by!
