    Hi Mike,

Thanks for stopping by and checking out our plugins! 🙂 I’m happy to report that Event Aggregator absolutely does support imports from multiple external calendar sources–as many as you’d like, in fact! 🙂 Our basic Personal license tier includes support for up to 100 scheduled event imports per day; if you need more, upgraded options are also available for 200 or 1000 daily imports. You can read more about setting up these imports using Event Aggregator on our Knowledgebase here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/import-from-feed-or-url/

I hope that helps to get you started! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Sharon,

Thanks for reaching out! I’m afraid that per the terms of our nonprofit partnership program, we’re unable to provide support for issues encountered using our free nonprofit licenses. 🙁 You can read more about the terms that all of our nonprofit applicants agree to at the link below.

If you need further assistance, please consider using the discount coupon provided in your acceptance email to purchase one of our paid licenses–with this, you’ll be able to post to our premium forums and receive direct support for your issue. Thanks so much for your understanding!

    Hi Diane,

Thanks for reaching out! By default, pagination links to navigate to the next and previous months are not displayed if there are no events listed for those months. However, you can easily change this behavior with a small code snippet added to your functions.php file. You can read more about how to do this on our Knowledgebase here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/add-nextprevious-links/

Would this work to resolve your client’s issue here? 🙂 Let us know if you should have any other questions or if there’s anything else that we can do to assist!

    Hi Mark,

Thanks for reaching out! By default, tickets that are purchased as a group in a single transaction will all be assigned to the buyer specified during checkout, as there is only one field provided for name entry regardless of the number of tickets purchased. If you need to account for additional persons, I’d suggest using the Attendee Information feature to add one or more optional fields where users buying tickets for multiple attendees can add the names of any other guests in their party. You can read more about this feature on our Knowledgebase here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/collecting-attendee-information/

I hope that helps! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Chris,

Thanks so much for reaching out–we’re thrilled to hear that you’re considering our plugins for your project! 🙂 We do appreciate your patience as we do our best to attend to all of our customer inquiries in a timely manner. Due to the high volume of pre-sales questions and support requests that we receive on a daily basis, it may be 24-48 hours before some questions may receive a reply from our support team. You can find more information on our turnaround times and details on the level of support that we provide on our forum guidelines, if you’re curious to read more!

To answer your questions here, I’m happy to report that our recurring event feature does support multiple non-consecutive event dates using the “single event” recurrence type. Since you’re specifying events by date, there’s no need to commit to any type of pattern when adding event dates in this format.

Regarding ticketing for recurring events, all tickets that are attached to a recurring event/event series will apply to the entire range of dates for that event, and there is no way to differentiate between a ticket sold on day one versus day two (and so on). If you need to work around this and provide date-specific tickets, I’d suggest creating an event series as normal, then splitting the event series into separate single events and attaching tickets to each of the single events in the series. We’re working on adding full support for recurring event ticketing to future product updates, but it’s simply not ready for prime time yet–I’m so sorry to disappoint. 🙁

I hope that helps to answer your questions here! Thanks again for your interest, and please don’t hesitate to let us know if there’s anything else that we can do for you!

    Hi Conrad,

Thanks for following up to confirm that everything’s all up-to-date on your end! And you’re absolutely right–it looks like the latest versions of these two plugins do have mismatched version numbers! I’m so sorry for the confusion! ? Since everything is at the most recent available version, you should still be okay there, but thank you for double-checking! Feel free to move forward with conflict testing whenever you’re ready (you can leave all Modern Tribe plugins active for conflict testing), and let us know if you should have any questions as you’re working through the steps! 🙂

    Thank you!

    Hi Alexander,

Thanks so much for getting in touch–I’m so sorry to hear that you’re experiencing some issues with translations on your site! I’m afraid that we’re not equipped to provide technical support for current plugin users here in our pre-sales forum. We’d be more than happy to assist you at one of the following locations:

If you can, please take the time to confirm in your post that you’ve run through our conflict testing steps prior to contacting us–this will save us a step and help us to get your issue resolved that much quicker! 🙂

Thanks again, and we’ll see you in the forums!

    Hi Nik,

Thanks for stopping by! I’m afraid that Event Aggregator is only able to import events from publicly-accessible sources at this time. If your event can still be accessed via direct link by a user who does not have access to your group, the event should be able to be imported–otherwise, your import is likely to fail with an error. 🙁 If you have any doubts, you can certainly purchase licensing for Event Aggregator and give it a try. Should you be unable to bring in your events, we can certainly process a refund for you under the terms of our 30-day refund policy.

I hope that helps! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Lisa,

Thanks so much for stopping by–happy to hear that you’re considering our products for your site! I’d be more than glad to answer your questions here! 🙂

    • It sounds like our List View (which is available with both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO) might be a solid fit for your needs here! You can see what this view looks like in action on our WP Shindig demo site right here. http://wpshindig.com/events/list/
    • Absolutely! Our demo site shows as many filters as possible for demonstration purposes, but if you’re using Filter Bar to filter events on your site, you can choose which filters are displayed to your users when configuring the plugin.
    • When using List View to display your events, the number of events shown is limited by the number of posts that display per page in your WordPress settings. You can change this number in your settings at any time.
    • We don’t offer a “Year” filter in Filter Bar by default, but if you’re comfortable with a bit of coding, you can add any number of custom filters to Filter Bar that you’d like. We have a great new Knowledgebase article showing how to do just that here! https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/creating-custom-filters-for-filter-bar/
    • We do offer the option of importing multiple events via CSV with our core calendar plugin, and you don’t need to purchase Event Aggregator to make use of this feature. This Knowledgebase article goes into a bit more detail about CSV imports and how they work with our plugins. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/importing-data-from-a-csv-file/

I hope that helps to get you started here! 🙂 Thanks again for your interest, and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Heather,

Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here! I’m happy to report that this sort of multi-day event structure is very much possible using the event series functionality built into Events Calendar PRO. Using this tool, you can create multi-day events on any recurrence schedule imaginable, including daily/weekly/monthly/yearly patterns, date-specific irregular recurrences, multiple patterns, patterns with exceptions, and more. You can learn more about creating recurring events with Events Calendar PRO on our Knowledgebase here!

I hope that helps! Thanks again, and don’t hesitate to let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Conrad,

Thanks for taking the time to confirm that for me! For our next steps, there are a couple of things that I’d like for you to try, if you don’t mind:

    • It looks like you’re running versions of The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO with version numbers that don’t match. Since our plugins rely on shared code between them to ensure proper functionality, running different versions side-by-side can cause unexpected issues to crop up during regular usage. Please take a moment to update both of your calendar plugins to the most recent version so that both of these show the same version number when viewed in your plugins listing!
    • Sometimes, conflicts with third-party themes or plugins can cause problems to crop up in unexpected places. Conflict testing can help us to identify themes or plugins that may be causing problems with our plugins. Would you mind taking a moment to run through our conflict testing steps as outlined in this link? https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/

Let me know what the result is after trying these two steps, and we’ll see where we can go from there! 🙂 Thanks so much for your patience as we continue to work on this issue together!

    Hi there,

Thanks for taking the time to follow up with us here. I wanted to confirm that we received your refund request via email and have processed a full refund for your two orders as requested. You should see those funds returning to your account in no more than 5-10 business days. We’re sorry to see you go–we wish you the best of luck with your ongoing and future projects!

    Hi Jeni,

Thanks for taking the time to reach out! I’m happy to report that this type of event series structure–that is, events that do not repeat at regular intervals–is definitely possible with Events Calendar PRO. You can read more about recurring events in PRO and how to set them up on our Knowledgebase here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-recurring-events/

For events like yours that do not follow a set pattern (such as daily, weekly, or monthly recurrences), you’ll want to use the “single event” option for your recurrences and set the dates for each event manually.

I hope that helps to address your concerns here! 🙂 Thanks again, and don’t hesitate to let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Colin,

Thanks for taking the time to follow up on this subject! While we do have this bug logged in our systems to address in a future maintenance release, I’m afraid that we don’t have any updates on scheduling to report at this time. For now, if you want to avoid redirects on your site, I’d suggest using the shortcode method that Geoff B. recommended in the original thread–we’ll be sure to follow up there as soon as there’s news to share regarding the progress of this bug!

Thanks so much for your patience here, and let us know if you should have any other questions! 🙂

    Hi Ted,

Thanks so much for checking out our plugins! Our import solution Event Aggregator can handle imports from a variety of external sources and file types, including CSV and ICS files and event imports from Google Calendar, Facebook, and Meetup. If you’re able to export existing data from your third-party calendar in one of the listed formats, you should have no problems bringing this data into The Events Calendar! You can read more about Event Aggregator and its features on the linked product page, or we’d be glad to answer any more specific questions that you might have about its functionality!

I hope that helps! Thanks again for stopping by, and let us know if you should have any other questions!
