Participantwhen i click preview after entering a facebook url, it just spins and hangs forever. how do i get it working? thanks.

MemberHi. Sorry you’re experiencing this.
I tested https://www.facebook.com/grandcentralartcenter in Event Aggregator’s Preview and I experienced the same.
However, when I visited https://www.facebook.com/pg/grandcentralartcenter/events/, it said there are no Upcoming Events.
Also, when I tried to scroll down to see additional Past Events, it just kept trying to load: https://cl.ly/0W184415391Z
I’ll report the “forever loading” issue to our developers for investigation. Maybe it is supposed to be displaying the message of “No upcoming events found” but doesn’t…
I’ll mark this ticket as Pending Fix, which means this thread should receive a reply once the applicable fix has been released. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.
I apologize for this issue and appreciate your understanding and patience.

ParticipantI had the same experience with Facebook pages that do have events in the future including Facebook.com/downtowninc. If this doesn’t work I need to return the $300 in licenses I just purchased from you. Please let me know how that works.

I then tried https://www.facebook.com/grandcentralartcenter and https://www.facebook.com/pg/grandcentralartcenter/events/ and still neither worked… which is the bug I reported to our developers.
Please try both of the “downtowninc” page’s URLs again (either worked for me) and if it doesn’t work, please go to wp-admin > Events > Help > check your “Event Aggregator System Status” at the bottom of the page
Even if Facebook connection looks good/green, please go to wp-admin > Events > Settings > APIs tab > and disconnect and then reconnect your Facebook and then try a “downtowninc” URL again and see if it then works for you.
Maybe even try another browser just in case that could be the issue.

The HELP > STATUS looks good. It says ready to go license active.
I would like a refund at this point. Sad your product no longer works.
I want my $300 back.

MemberAlthough the original poster has requested a refund, I want to note that we could confirm this is not an issue anymore in current versions of The Events Calendar. If you experience a similar issue be sure to update the plugin to the latest version and re-test.
