Importing events from Closed Facebook Group

Hi,
Is it possible to import events from closed Facebook groups?
Or does it only work with Pages?

Hi Nik,

Thanks for stopping by! I’m afraid that Event Aggregator is only able to import events from publicly-accessible sources at this time. If your event can still be accessed via direct link by a user who does not have access to your group, the event should be able to be imported–otherwise, your import is likely to fail with an error. 🙁 If you have any doubts, you can certainly purchase licensing for Event Aggregator and give it a try. Should you be unable to bring in your events, we can certainly process a refund for you under the terms of our 30-day refund policy.

Just a heads up from another user that ran across this thread…

Event Aggregator can import events that aren’t public due to the way it authenticates with Facebook.

Facebook Importer used to not be able to import private Facebook events.
Hope this clears things up for anyone in the future who comes across this thread.
