    Hi Thomas,

Thanks for stopping by! If you’re using Event Tickets or Event Tickets Plus to collect RSVPs or sell tickets to an event, you can access information on your attendees (including email addresses) from your attendee list. You can read more about managing your orders and attendees on our Knowledgebase here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/managing-your-orders-and-attendees/

Regarding RSVP email notification for admins, this functionality is not built into Event Tickets by default, but you can add this feature in with the aid of a third-party plugin. This forum post provides some more information on how to do just that:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/events-tickets-rsvp-email-alerts/

I hope that helps to get you started here! šŸ™‚ Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Robin,

Thanks so much for paying us a visitĀ and checking out our plugins! It does sound like you’ve got a bit of a tricky situation here, since bringing events from one The Events Calendar install to another via Event Aggregator would leave individual chapters unable to add or edit their own events on the master calendar, while using Community Events would require chapters to enter each event twice (once on their own calendar and once on the master calendar).

For your intended setup, I’d recommend using Event Aggregator, but rather than having each chapter set up their events on their own chapter’s site to be imported onto the master calendar, I’d set up a Google Calendar for each chapter and have all of the events posted directly to that calendar. Then, using Event Aggregator, you can set up scheduled imports (at whatever interval you prefer) to import from those Google Calendars to both the individual chapter calendars and the master calendars. Scheduled imports will ensure that the events are always kept in sync between the master calendar and chapter calendars, and each chapter will be able to edit their own events via the Google Calendar, with the edits copying over to the WordPress sites with each import. (Note that if you’re maintaining more than 10 sites total between the main site and sub-sites for each chapter, you may need multiple Event Aggregator licenses, but otherwise, one license key should suffice.)

I hope that helps to give you an idea of how this sort of setup might be possible! Let me know if my explanation here makes sense or if you should have any questions about how this arrangement might work! šŸ™‚ Cheers, and thanks again for stopping by!

    Hi there,

Thanks for taking the time to pay us a visit here–we appreciate your interest in using our plugins on your site! I’m afraid that our calendar and ticketing products do not support bookings of this type, so it sounds like our offerings might not be the best fit for your needs. šŸ™ While it may be possible to add this functionality via custom development, I’d be more inclined to suggest exploring one or moreĀ other WordPress plugins that do support bookings out of the box. The WordPress Plugin Directory is a great place to start:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/

I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news here, but we do appreciate your consideration, and we thank you again for stopping by! Cheers, and best of luck finding the right solution for your site! šŸ™‚

    Hi Bertel,

Thanks for reaching out! I’m happy to report that we do offer support for additional fields with our premium ticketing plugin, Event Tickets Plus. You can read more about this feature and how to add additional fields to your ticketing forms on our Knowledgebase here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/collecting-attendee-information/

I hope that helps! Thanks again, and don’t hesitate to let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Emmett,

Thanks so much for stopping by–we’re thrilled to hear that you’re considering making the move to our plugins! I’d be more than glad to help you out with your questions here. šŸ™‚

    • For importing events into your calendar from other sources or calendars, you’ll want to pair one of our calendar plugins (The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO) with our importing solution, Event Aggregator. This plugin adds support for importing from a number of external sources, including iCal/ICS, Google Calendar, and Facebook.
    • While we don’t offer any built-in tools for automatically posting new events to social media, our calendar plugins store and access events as custom post types within WordPress. As such, they can be easily shared and crossposted by any social media plugin that supports custom post types. Feel free to test a few and see which works best for your needs!
    • RSVPs/free tickets are supported by our free core ticketing plugin, Event Tickets, which can be downloaded directly from WordPress.org’s plugin repository. If you need support for paid tickets, you’ll want to add on our premium ticketing plugin, Event Tickets Plus.

I hope that helps to address some of your initial concerns here!Ā Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up ifĀ you should have any other questions!

    Hi Mark,

Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out our plugins!Ā I’m afraid that we don’t currently offer support for user-submitted paid events via Community Events at this time. However, we do have plans to incorporate this functionality into an eventual future release–you can keep up with the latest updates on this feature’s progress on our UserVoice forum!

    https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/3762678-charge-for-event-submission-and-premium-featured-e

For now, if you’d like to offer this functionality for a site that’s currently in development, customization is likely to be your best bet for moving forward. We do maintain a list of third-party developers who work with our plugins and would be more than happy to discuss your project in greater detail! Feel free to reach out to any one of them for more information!

I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again for your interest, and let us know if you should have any other questions! šŸ™‚

    Hi Sharon,

You’re very welcome!Ā Since it looks like you’re all sorted outĀ now, I’m going to go ahead and close this thread out, if that’s alright! Please don’t hesitate to follow up with a new thread if there’s anything else that we can do to assist! šŸ™‚ Thank you!

    Hi John,

Thanks so much for your interest in our plugins! While it’s certainly possible that this type of integration might be achievable with our plugins, I’m afraid that it would require a fairly extensiveĀ level of customization, and any pluginĀ modificationsĀ of this nature would be beyond our team’s ability to provide guidance or support. That said, if you’re interested in pursuing this further,Ā you may find these links helpful as you’re beginning to dig into code!

Premium license holders areĀ also welcome to open a new thread on our support forums for specific questions that might crop up during the course of developing customizations! However, it’s important to note that help with customizations is beyond the scope of what support services we offer, so we may be limited in what degree of assistance we can provide. That said, we’re always happy to try and at least point someone in the right direction. šŸ™‚

I hope that helps to answer your question here! Thanks again, and don’t hesitate to let us know if there’s anything else we can do to assist!

    Hi Laura,

Thanks for taking the time to reach out! While we don’t officially include support for members-only calendars as a feature of The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO, we do receive this request from our users on occasion, and we’ve found that it’s an achievable aim if you’re comfortable with a bit of customization on your site! These Knowledgebase articles may help to get you started!

I hope that helps to give you some ideas for what might be possible here! šŸ™‚ Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Jacquie,

Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here! We’re best equipped to provide support to users posting in separate threads, as posting on existing threads prevents topics from being timestamped properly and increases “noise” for all participants in a thread. Would you mind taking a moment to post a new thread in our pre-sales forum with the details of your inquiry? One of our team members will follow up right away to take your new thread and continue the conversation there! šŸ™‚

    Thank you!

    Hi Jen,

Thanks for following up! While I’m afraid that we don’t have a fix for this feature available at this time, I can confirm that we are targeting an eventual 4.5 maintenance release for this update. That said, we are unable to provide any more specificĀ details on releaseĀ timing, and we can’t guarantee that this particularĀ fix will definitely be addressed before our next major feature release. We’ll continue to monitor the progress of this bug in our development channels, and we’ll be sure to follow up here as soon as there’s more concrete news to share.

Thanks so much for your patience and understanding, and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you should have any other questions or concerns!

    Hi Michael,

Thanks so much for following up to provide some more information here! I’ve notedĀ your insights regarding different calendar applications to our ongoing bug ticket for this issue–we appreciate you taking the time to share!

Unfortunately, I’m afraid that we don’t have any new information to relay regarding the progress of this bug. šŸ™ For now, we suggest continuing to use the recommended fix where needed to ensure proper functionality of your external calendars. We’ll be sure to post again on this thread once we’ve made some progress towards shipping a fix for this bug! Thanks again for your patience and understanding, and please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you should have any other questions!

    HiĀ Sebastien,

I’m so sorry for the delay in following up with you here! I’m afraid that we experienced a minor glitch with our systems that held up notifications for this thread. While we don’t have any news or updates related to this bug or its progress at this time, I did want to confirm that we have received a number of other user reports regarding this issue, and we’ve raised the priority for this bug ticket accordingly. I’m leaving this thread marked as “pending fix”, and we’ll be sure to follow up as soon as there’s new information to share–thanks so very much for your patience as we continue to work on identifying and correcting this problem! šŸ™‚
