MemberHi Ty,
Thanks for reaching out! While it’s possible to disable the printable ticket emails that are sent out to users after a ticket is purchased, there’s no easy way at this time to disable these emails on a per-event basis with Event Tickets Plus. If you’d like to distribute existing paper tickets for a specific event and will check in attendees manually, you might consider disabling the QR codes on your ticket emails instead. This will allow these emails to still serve as tickets for events that require them, but the lack of a scannable portion may help to alleviate some confusion on other events, especially when paired with some explanatory text in your event’s description. This Knowledgebase guide provides instructions on how to disable QR codes on your ticket emails, should you choose to go this route:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/hide-qr-code-from-event-emails/
Of course, Eventbrite Tickets is always an option, should you find their ticketing flow a better fit for your specific needs here! We do offer a 30-day refund policy for all of our products, so you always have the option of trying both and keeping the one that’s the best match for you.
I hope that helps to answer your question here! Thanks again, and let me know if there’s anything else that I can assist with! 🙂

MemberHi Jim,
Thanks for reaching out–great question! Users who RSVP for an event while logged into an account on your site may log in at any time after to change their RSVP and unregister; purchased tickets, however, cannot be automatically cancelled or refunded. Your users will need to reach out to you directly to cancel a ticket order, and any payments made will need to be refunded manually. You can learn more about cancelling and refunding ticket orders at the link below.

I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Jenni,
Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out our plugins! I’d be more than glad to try and answer your questions here! 🙂
- While this functionality is not provided with any of our plugins out-of-the-box, this is something that would certainly be achievable with some degree of customization. This forum post provides some more information courtesy of a user who had this feature developed for their site, and it may be helpful to you if you’re interested in the same! https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/short-term-solution-for-event-reminder-emails/
- An email address is required for all RSVPs or ticket purchases made using Event Tickets or Event Tickets Plus. This information is added into your attendees list once a user has registered for an event, and you can easily export this data to CSV format if you’d like to feed it into an external application.
- Attendee information can be printed, emailed, or exported to CSV from your attendees lists in the WordPress admin. Unfortunately, we don’t offer a way to customize the printed output at this time–you may wish to export your attendees to a CSV file and make your changes there before printing.
- I’m afraid that we don’t offer a standalone application for checking in event attendees at this time. If you’re interested in seeing this feature brought to our plugins in the future, we have an existing feature suggestion for this idea in our UserVoice forum, and we’d be glad to receive your vote or comments! 🙂 https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/11304501-develop-an-android-and-ios-app-for-qr-code-scannin
I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again for your interest, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

MemberSalut!
Merci beaucoup d’avoir pris contact!

MemberHi Daniel,
Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out our plugins! While our plugins do not offer any built-in support for BuddyPress integrations, the third-party plugin BuddyPress Events Calendar provides some added functionality for using The Events Calendar with BuddyPress. Depending on your specific needs here, this may be an option worth considering! (Please note that we are not the developers of this third-party add-on, nor are we affiliated with the developer in any way, and we cannot provide support for any issues that may arise when using this plugin.)
Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you should have any other questions! 🙂

MemberHi Mark,
Thanks for reaching out! While QR code check-ins are enjoyed by many of our customers for their simplicity and ease of use, we definitely understand that this method might not be appropriate for all types of events! If you’d prefer to check in your attendees manually without a printed ticket or QR code, you can easily do this right from the attendees list of your event. Our Knowledgebase article here provides plenty of information on options for managing your attendees, including different check-in methods. 🙂
I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Julie,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here! While Event Tickets Plus does provide a simple means of using ticket types to allow users to choose their seating area (as seen in this Knowledgebase article), I’m afraid that we don’t offer support for assigned seating or physical printed tickets at this time. I’m sorry to disappoint. 🙁 We do appreciate you considering our plugins for your project, and we hope we might have the chance to work with you on another project very soon!

MemberHi Lizette,
Thanks so much for stopping by–we’re glad to hear that you’re considering adding Community Events and Community Tickets to your existing plugin lineup! Based on your stated needs here, it sounds like you should be able to achieve at least some part of what you’re seeking with some degree of customization, including adding content to front-end pages for administrators only. (Our Themer’s Guide is a great place to start learning how to modify our plugins’ templates.) Some other requests, such as the ability to grant Community Events users access to events that were created by other users, may be significantly more challenging to implement (enough so that I can’t guarantee that it’s possible). It may be worth taking advantage of our 30-day return period to purchase any additional plugins you might need and begin work on customizations–should you find that you’re not able to achieve the desired functionality, we’d be more than glad to refund your purchases.
I’m sorry that I can’t be of more assistance here, but I hope that helps to give you an idea of what’s more likely to be possible! Thanks again for taking the time to reach out, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Sergio,
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at our plugins for your project! I’d be more than glad to see if I can answer your questions here. 🙂
It looks like you’ve got a pretty complex setup here, so I apologize in advance if I’m misunderstanding your needs! I’ve attempted to take your requirements here and convert them into a point-by-point list. Let me know if any of this is incorrect or if I’ve overlooked anything!
- Promo codes – supported by WooCommerce when paired with Event Tickets Plus
- Multiple ticket types – supported
- Specific start and end dates for certain ticket types (such as “early bird” tickets) – supported
- Purchasing tickets for specific days in a multi-day event – supported by creating separate ticket types for each day
- Purchasing multiple tickets in a single order – supported
I hope that helps to address some of your concerns here! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Christopher,
Thanks for getting in touch–I’m so sorry to hear that you’ve encountered a conflict while using The Events Calendar on your site. We’d love the opportunity to assist with some troubleshooting to see if we can resolve this issue for you! While we’re not equipped to provide technical support for current plugin users here in our pre-sales forum, we’d be more than happy to assist you on our WordPress.org support forum for The Events Calendar. Would you mind taking a moment to submit a new thread there with the details of your issue?
If you can, please take the time to confirm in your post that you’ve run through our conflict testing steps prior to contacting us–this will save us a step and help us to get your issue resolved that much quicker! 🙂
Thanks again, and we’ll see you in the forums!

MemberHi there,
Thanks for following up! No problem–I’m happy to tackle the remaining items on your list here, point by point!
6. Customers have access to their event booking history/upcoming events
As bookings are not supported by any of our plugins, booking history is also not available.
12. Users can create an event from the front-end
If you’re using The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO to power your calendar, your users can submit their own events with the Community Events add-on.
13. Public events have limited number of seats
While assigned seating is not an available feature of our plugins, this Knowledgebase guide provides a method for using stock limits to sell or give away tickets based on a seating chart with Event Tickets or Event Tickets Plus.
14. Public events have a waiting list if the seats are full
We’ve provided a workaround here for providing waitlist functionality to your attendees using the RSVP feature of Event Tickets.
15. Automatic email notifying admin if an event creation has occurred
This functionality is included with Community Events.
16. Allow automatic email to customer to confirm their event creation/event booking
Email confirmation for users is already built into our ticketing and event submission plugins.
17. Only allow a confirmation email to be sent to customers when admin confirms the event booking
RSVPs made using Event Tickets are processed automatically; if you’re using Event Tickets Plus for paid ticketing, you can configure it to require admin approval before confirmation emails and tickets are sent to your users.
19. Customers can write comments and give a rating for a public event
Comments can be enabled for your single events in the plugin settings for The Events Calendar/Events Calendar PRO. Ratings are not included by default, but you should be able to add these with a third-party plugin that supports custom post types.
20. Google maps can be integrated into event details
This feature is included with both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO.
21. Recurring events can be created by the admin in the back-end or from the users on the front-end
If you have Events Calendar PRO and Community Events, the recurring event functionality included with Events Calendar PRO will be made available to users submitting events with Community Events, as well.
I hope that helps to address your concerns here! Thanks again, and let me know if there’s anything else that we can do to assist!

MemberHi Charles,
Wonderful, thanks so much! 🙂 Since you’ve already reached out to us to continue the conversation over in email, I’m going to go ahead and close this forum thread out. Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up with a new thread if there’s anything else we can do to assist!

MemberHi Colm,
Thanks for following up, and I’m sorry for the trouble here! It looks as though your May 23rd purchase was made for new licensing of our discontinued Facebook Events product, not a renewal of your existing Event Aggregator license. I’ve gone ahead and refunded the difference between your new license and an Event Aggregator renewal back to your account, and I’ve applied the year of licensing to your Event Aggregator license instead. You can retrieve your license key by logging into your account on TheEventsCalendar.com and navigating to your account’s license keys page. Entering this EA key into the field provided in your plugin settings should restore normal functionality and allow you to import events once more.
I hope that helps to get you on your way here! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Ryan,
Thanks so much for stopping by–we’re glad to hear that you’re considering our plugin suite for your project! 🙂 I’d be more than happy to answer your questions here.
- Great question! If you only need to activate our plugins on a single site within your multisite network, our Personal license tier should install and activate without issue on your site (though network administration and automatic updates will be disabled). If you do require full multisite functionality, we also offer a Multisite license tier for our Ultimate Bundle, though this bundle isn’t listed on the Ultimate Bundle product page. We’d be more than glad to discuss pricing and further details for this bundle via email if you’re interested!
https://theeventscalendar.com/contact/
You can choose the option “Help accessing my account” from the drop-down menu to display the full email form.
- We do have a nonprofit partnership program that provides free nonprofit licenses for Events Calendar PRO and Event Tickets Plus to accepted organizations and offers discounted licensing for all of our other products. However, the discounts offered through this program aren’t eligible to be used on bundle products. 🙁 That said, if you’re interested in learning more, you can find out all the details on our program page here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/do-you-offer-discounts-for-nonprofit-organizations/
I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and don’t hesitate to let us know if you should have any other questions! 🙂

MemberHi Jim,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out, and I’m so sorry for the trouble here! It’s unclear what might be happening with your licensing and renewals here, so we’d love to take this conversation over to email, if you wouldn’t mind! Would you be so kind as to send us a quick message using our contact form?
https://theeventscalendar.com/contact/
Please select the option “Help accessing my account” from the drop-down menu to display the full email form on this page! If you can, please also include your original license key with your message–this will help us to more quickly locate your original license for the fastest processing of your product renewal.
Thanks, and we’ll see you over in email! 🙂
