MemberHi Penny,
Thanks so much for stopping by–we’re thrilled to hear that you’re considering making the switch to our plugins for your project! đ Our WooCommerce Tickets product has been superseded by the new and improved Event Tickets Plus (which maintains the WooCommerce compatibility of its predecessor), so I’ll be answering your questions with this plugin in mind!
- All ticket details that are provided during checkout are included in the ticket emails that are sent to attendees. You can see a screenshot of an example ticket email (complete with QR code) on our Knowledgebase here:Â https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/managing-your-orders-and-attendees/#qr-code-checkins
- Additional custom fields for tickets are handled through the attendee information functionality built into newer versions of Event Tickets Plus–you can read more about these on our Knowledgebase as well! These fields are exported with all other ticket details when exporting attendee details to CSV format. https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/managing-your-orders-and-attendees/#exporting-attendees
- As WooCommerce Follow-ups is a third-party WooCommerce extension, I can’t confirm whether or not variables from Event Tickets Plus can be easily integrated into emails created for this extension. I expect that their support for custom variables would allow for our data to be pulled in, but this type of customization would be beyond the scope of what we’re able to support or assist with directly.
I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Jennifer,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out! While we have received a number of requests to expand the list of permitted file types for our Community Events forms, and a suggestion for this feature does already exist on our UserVoice forum, we don’t have any new updates to share regarding the development of this feature. Sadly, this type of change isn’t particularly trivial, though we do seriously consider user requests such as yours when planning new feature additions for our product releases. I’d suggest subscribing to our newsletter or following us on social media to keep up with the latest plugin releases and feature additions as they’re announced!
For now, if you’re looking for a solution that will provide this type of functionality on your site, you may find this forum post to be helpful:
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/attach-a-file-to-community-events-form/
I’m sorry that I couldn’t be of more assistance this time around, but I hope the link above might help to get you on your way here! Thanks again, and let me know if there’s anything else that I can do to assist! đ

MemberHi Tiffany,
Thanks so much for getting in touch! I’m afraid that we’re not equipped to provide technical support for current plugin users here in our pre-sales forum. If you’re using one or more of our free plugins such as The Events Calendar and Event Tickets, we’d be more than happy to assist you on the WordPress.org support forum for the affected product. Would you mind taking a moment to open a new thread at one of these locations with the details of your problem? One of our support team members will follow up to begin troubleshooting with you as soon as possible!
Thanks again, and we’ll see you there! đ
June 14, 2017 at 12:51 pm in reply to: Import from JEvents Calendar to Premium Modern Tribe Calendar #1298073Caroline
MemberHi Rita,
Thanks for reaching out! It looks like JEvents Calendar does support the export of events to iCal/ICS format, which can be imported into The Events Calendar using our Event Aggregator add-on. If you’re able to export your events to CSV format, these can be imported without any additional add-ons. đ
I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Andrew,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m afraid that our plugins don’t have any built-in support for custom week structures at this time. I’m sorry to disappoint. đ You might consider reaching out to a third-party developer who works with our plugins if you’re interested in receiving a custom quote to build this functionality! Otherwise, switching to one of our other calendar views, such as the list view, may be your best approach for avoiding confusion regarding the scheduling of your events.
Regarding your second question, we do offer “add to calendar” options on single events with our Google Calendar and iCal Export buttons. You’ll find these buttons located above the Event Details pane on any single event–here’s an example event from our WP Shindig demo site so you can see what they look like in practice!
I hope that helps! Thanks again for getting in touch, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Mahet,
Thanks for reaching out! If you’d like to have separate calendars for different artists’ events while still maintaining a master calendar of shared events between the group, you can easily achieve this by assigning categories or tags for each artist and linking to individual calendars for those categories or tags. You can see an example of a category calendar here on our WP Shindig demo site! If you’d prefer not to use categories or tags in this way, another option would be to set up each artist as the organizer for their own events, then use Filter Bar to let users filter the master calendar by organizer.
Unfortunately, if you’re looking to have separate calendars that are assigned to logged-in users on a given site, this functionality isn’t currently supported by any of our plugins. Limiting the display of information on a user-by-user basis is also not built in, though it may be possible via some degree of customization.
I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions! đ

MemberHi Mette,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out! I’m so sorry to hear that you’re having some trouble with Eventbrite Tickets and your existing events. While Eventbrite Tickets will only link directly to one Eventbrite account at a time, you can actually import events owned by other Eventbrite accounts using the event ID, as seen in our Knowledgebase documentation here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/importing-events-from-eventbrite-com/
Unfortunately, Event Aggregator does not support importing from Eventbrite at this time. If you should have any issues continuing to work with Eventbrite Tickets, please don’t hesitate to submit a new post to the Eventbrite Tickets forum so that our team members can assist you further!
Thanks, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Federica,
Thanks so much for your interest in our plugins! While Event Tickets Plus does not provide any built-in functionality for a minimum number of RSVPs at this time, you can achieve this effect by having all new ticket orders set to a status such as “Processing” until the minimum order threshold is reached. Once you’ve reached your target figure, you can then manually move your orders to “Completed” status and have tickets sent at that time. You can learn more about how to set this up on our Knowledgebase at the links below:
If you need to have this function performed automatically, you can likely achieve this effect via custom development, though unfortunately our support team isn’t able to assist with modifications of this type. We do, however, maintain a list of third-party developers who work with our plugins and would be more than happy to discuss the details of your project!
I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again for stopping by, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

June 14, 2017 at 10:28 am in reply to: Displaying data from multiple Google Calendars and toggling between them #1297969Caroline
MemberHi Gabriel,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out! If you’re looking to combine event data from multiple Google Calendars into a single changeable calendar view, you’ll likely want to start with our Event Aggregator tool, which allows for one-time or recurring event imports from a variety of sources (including Google Calendar). When you’re importing events from each of your individual calendars, you can assign a separate category or tag to the events from each calendar, which will then allow you to view all events in a single view (with the default view), view each set of events as its own separate calendar (using a category or tag view, as seen here on our WP Shindig demo site), or view events from a combination of one or more calendars (using Filter Bar to filter by the appropriate categories or tags).
I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions here! đ

MemberHi there,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here! As tickets created with Event Tickets Plus must be attached to a specific post, page, event, or other custom post type, there is currently no way to create a standalone ticket that can be checked into any event at this time. If you’d like to provide gift card-type functionality to your visitors, I’d suggest creating a separate WooCommerce product for users to buy “gift cards”, then manually generate coupon codes for each buyer and email them to the gift recipients. You can configure these gift cards to provide a 100% discount on the cost of a regular ticket purchase, so they can then use the coupon code they’ve received to register for the date of their choosing.
Does this explanation make sense? Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions or concerns here!

MemberHi Ferran,
Thanks so much for stopping by! I’m afraid that we don’t have any pre-built calendar views that provide this functionality with either The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO. I’m sorry to disappoint! đ If you’re interested in styling our calendar displays to resemble this layout, you might consider bringing in the skills of a third-party developer who’s experienced with our products. We do maintain a list of customizers who are happy to provide these services, if you’d like to reach out to one of them!
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/
I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!
