Multi user Calendar?

Hello there,

We have a client that requires multiple calendars for each their artists events. Each artist needs to select and see their own calendar. Is it possible to have several calendars for each artist or select a calendar searching by name? If so, can they download their own calendar?

Another question is if it´s possible for the main client to choose what information is shown to each artist and what not?

Hi Mahet,

Thanks for reaching out! If you’d like to have separate calendars for different artists’ events while still maintaining a master calendar of shared events between the group, you can easily achieve this by assigning categories or tags for each artist and linking to individual calendars for those categories or tags. You can see an example of a category calendar here on our WP Shindig demo site! If you’d prefer not to use categories or tags in this way, another option would be to set up each artist as the organizer for their own events, then use Filter Bar to let users filter the master calendar by organizer.

Unfortunately, if you’re looking to have separate calendars that are assigned to logged-in users on a given site, this functionality isn’t currently supported by any of our plugins. Limiting the display of information on a user-by-user basis is also not built in, though it may be possible via some degree of customization.
