    Hi Lisa,

Thanks for taking the time to reach out, and I’m so sorry for the trouble here! These types of issues have been known to occur as a result of timezone discrepancies between your WordPress settings and your events. I’d suggest checking your WordPress settings under Settings > General to verify that your site’s timezone is set properly there, then following the further instructions provided in this Knowlegebase article to make sure your timezone settings for the plugins themselves match up properly.

Let me know if these steps help to resolve the problem for you–if not, we’ll see where we can go from there! 🙂 Thanks again!

    Hi Julian,

Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here! While I can confirm that most WooCommerce extensions that work with virtual products and the “Simple” product type will work well with Event Tickets Plus, I’m afraid that I can’t say for certain whether this (or any one specific) multi-currency add-on would provide the functionality you’re looking for. If you already own this plugin and know that the other criteria listed here are met by it, I’d suggest that the best way forward would be to purchase Event Tickets Plus, create a few sample tickets on a testing environment, and try it for yourself. Should you run into any problems that would make this combination a deal-breaker for you, you’ll be covered under our 30-day refund policy, and you’ll receive your full purchase price back upon request.

I’m sorry that I couldn’t be of more assistance here, but I do hope that helps to get you on your way here! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Andrew,

No worries; I’m happy to answer as many questions as you’d like! 🙂 Yes, you can set specific dates for your event recurrences using the single event recurrence type described above. Recurring events of any type are only supported by Events Calendar PRO at this time, so you’ll want to make sure you’ve purchased and installed this plugin along the free version of The Events Calendar to access the event series options.

I hope that helps–let me know if I can clarify anything else for you here!

    Hi Andrew,

Thanks for following up! Yes, you absolutely can do this type of structure with a recurring event series! In addition to the standard pattern-based repetitions that are supported (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, etc.), you can use the single event recurrence type to set a specific date for each event in your series. You can learn more about recurring events and how to set them up on our Knowledgebase here.

Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions! 🙂

    Hi Paul,

Thanks for stopping by–great question here! Our Event Tickets Plus and Eventbrite Tickets plugins both provide paid ticketing support for your posts, pages, or events, but which one you’ll want to choose will depend on which approach you prefer for your tickets.

Event Tickets Plus works alongside our free core Event Tickets plugin and an e-commerce platform of your choice (such as WooCommerce) to provide ticket sales that are entirely self-contained on your own site. It’s a great option for users who want full control over the ticketing process, as you have the freedom to customize everything from the purchase flow to supported payment methods to options for coupon codes or sales. Additionally, many popular WooCommerce add-ons and extensions are supported by Event Tickets Plus, so if you’re using WooCommerce as your e-commerce plugin, you can customize the behavior of your site and sales even further.

Eventbrite Tickets is a great option for users who are already familiar with the Eventbrite platform or who want to integrate their existing Eventbrite tickets into the events display on their WordPress site. Using Eventbrite Tickets, you can link a single Eventbrite account to your site to import existing events (either from your own account or by ID for tickets created by other users), and two-way syncing is supported for tickets posted to your own Eventbrite account or to your WordPress site.

I hope that helps to give you an idea of the key differences between these two ticketing solutions! You’ll find more information on each of these products on their product pages. Please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions–I’d be more than glad to assist! 🙂

    Hi John,

Thanks for taking the time to reach out! While we don’t offer a shortcode for quickly dropping a search bar into a non-calendar page at this time, this is something you could certainly achieve with some degree of customization. These forum posts may offer some useful code and suggestions to get you on your way:

I hope that helps to get you started here! 🙂 Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Jasmine,

Thanks so much for reaching out! If you’d like to hide the cost field entirely from all of your events, we’ve provided a CSS snippet on this Knowledgebase article that will let you do just that!

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/woocommerce-and-vat-taxes/#cost-display

Simply add these lines of CSS to the Additional CSS section of your WordPress Customizer, save your changes, and you’ll be all set.

Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!
