GuestHi there, we use a multicurrency plugin so we can sell products in more than one currency. It works very well for product sales. We would also like to sell tickets in different currencies. E.g. UK event tickets in pounds and US events in dollars.
Here’s their plugin https://aelia.co/shop/currency-switcher-woocommerce/
Are you aware of whether this is compatible or not?
Thanks

GuestI contacted the authors of this plugin and here’s there response:
We haven’t tested the Events Calendar plugin, and we wouldn’t be able to say if it will work correctly in a multi-currency environment. Generally speaking, any plugin that adds or manipulates prices in any way must be specifically designed to work with a multi-currency configuration. In other words, the Events Calendar plugin would have to “talk” to the multi-currency functions, so that the prices are converted correctly (the Currency Switcher, by itself, would not even know that such plugin is installed).
I would suggest to contact the developers of the Events Calendar plugin, and ask them if they happen to have tested their solution in a multi-currency setup. They should be able to verify that quite quickly.

MemberHi Julian,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here! While I can confirm that most WooCommerce extensions that work with virtual products and the “Simple” product type will work well with Event Tickets Plus, I’m afraid that I can’t say for certain whether this (or any one specific) multi-currency add-on would provide the functionality you’re looking for. If you already own this plugin and know that the other criteria listed here are met by it, I’d suggest that the best way forward would be to purchase Event Tickets Plus, create a few sample tickets on a testing environment, and try it for yourself. Should you run into any problems that would make this combination a deal-breaker for you, you’ll be covered under our 30-day refund policy, and you’ll receive your full purchase price back upon request.
I’m sorry that I couldn’t be of more assistance here, but I do hope that helps to get you on your way here! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
