Weekly Event Checkin (no tickets)

Hi, my client has weekly recurring non-ticketed member only ‘real world’ events where we want to be able to check-in/checkout website members without them needing tickets. The scenario is that someone sits at a desk checking them in on a laptop. Do any of your plugins do anything like this? The same people come to the event/class every week, so we don’t want to issue tickets every week, we just need them to tell us who they are and we check them in, which gets recorded on the website against that member.

Thanks for reaching out! While QR code check-ins are enjoyed by many of our customers for their simplicity and ease of use, we definitely understand that this method might not be appropriate for all types of events! If you’d prefer to check in your attendees manually without a printed ticket or QR code, you can easily do this right from the attendees list of your event. Our Knowledgebase article here provides plenty of information on options for managing your attendees, including different check-in methods. 🙂
