MemberHi Remy,
Great; I’m so glad to hear it!ย Since you’ve marked your inquiry as resolved, I’m going to go ahead and close this thread out. Please don’t hesitate to follow up with a new thread if there’s anything else that we can do to assist! ๐ Thank you!

MemberHi there,
As long as your main event details match up from import to import, future manual imports (of any type, including CSV) should not duplicate previously-imported events. If your event details should change on your calendar or at the source between imports, you can specify in your plugin settings which source should be given priority when updating events. You can read more about this setting under Event Update Authority on our Knowledgebase here.
If you’re looking to perform all of your imports via CSV, unfortunately, the only way to perform automated imports would be to develop something custom. This forum thread may provide some information to get you started in that direction, but please note that any customizations of this type would likely be a) extensive and b) completely unsupported by our team here in the forums.
Now, if bringing in your events via an ICS URL is an option that’s available to you, this functionalityย does already exist in Event Aggregator–no custom code or tricky workarounds required. You can learn more about how to set up one-time or scheduled imports with Event Aggregator right here!
I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Cesar,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out! Our list of third-party customizers is based on the most up-to-date information available to us, though some details may become inaccurate if a customizer does not request to have their information updated. If you’ve found any of the listed information to be incorrect or outdated, please let us know over in email, and we’ll be glad to make any necessary corrections.
It doesn’t appear that any of our currently-listed customizers are located in Europe, but you’ll find that our plugins are well-known across the WordPress space, and many developers are familiar enough with their workings to provide custom solutions! I’d suggest researching some options available through one or more of the various freelance marketplaces available for WordPress developers, such as Envato Studio or WordPress Jobs.
I hope that helps to get you started here! ๐ Thanks again, and let us know if there’s anything else that we can do to assist!
July 11, 2017 at 6:42 pm in reply to: Is there an option to use TBA instead of an actual date on future events? #1319868Caroline
MemberHi Toni,
Thanks for reaching out! At the moment, we don’t offer any built-in means for listing events with a date that is unspecified or TBA. I’m sorry to disappoint. ๐ If you’re interested in seeing this feature added to a future product update, we have an existing UserVoice request for this feature, and we’d love to have you weigh in with your vote and any additional comments!
Again, I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news here, but we do appreciate you taking the time to connect with us! Thanks again, and let us know if there’s anything else that we can do for you!

MemberHi Len,
Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out our plugins! You can easily provide free RSVP functionality for online events using our free The Events Calendar and Event Tickets plugins, and a simple settings tweak will allow you to restrict RSVP access to registered users only. An option for displaying registered attendees for your events can also be made available, but this feature is only included with our premium ticketing plugin, Event Tickets Plus. You can see an example of how your attendees will display on your event pages here!
I hope that helps to answer some of your questions here! Let me know if you should have any others–and thanks again! ๐

MemberHi David,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out! While it’s not currently possible to specify different venues for each date of a recurring event series as you’re creating the event, you can easily change the venues assigned to different dates after your event series has been published. These steps should help you to get that set up:
- Using the steps provided in our Knowledgebase article, create an event series with your desired dates for each play.
- Open the single event page for one of your event dates in your browser.
- Navigate to the Edit Event menu in the Admin Toolbar (at the top of your single event page) and click Break from Series in the drop-down menu. This will split off this event date from your event series into a standalone single event.
- Once the edit page appears for your event, scroll down to the Location subheading and change the venue details for the selected event date.
- Click the blue Update button at the top of the edit page to publish your changes to the event.
- Repeat steps 2-6 for any other single events with unique venues in your event series.
Let me know if you should have any other questions as you’re looking over these steps or getting ready to dive in! ๐ Thanks again!

MemberHi Rob,
Thanks so much for your interest in Community Events! While Community Events does not currently include built-in support for paid event submissions, we do plan to incorporate this functionality into a future product update. We don’t have an exact timeline for when this feature might be available, but you can follow our UserVoice page for this feature to keep up with the latest updates on its progress:
If this feature is critical to your planned project, you might consider enlisting the services of a third-party developer to add this functionality for you. We do maintain a list of third-party developers who work with our products and who would be glad to discuss the details of your project in greater depth!
I hope that helps to get you started! Thanks again for reaching out, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Remy,
Thanks for reaching out! You can use the recurring event functionality of Events Calendar PRO to create an event that spans multiple noncontiguous days, then assign tickets to the entire grouping of events using Event Tickets Plus. However, it’s worth noting the following:
- Tickets assigned to recurring events are applied to the entire group
- You won’t be able to distinguish different tickets by the date they were purchased for
- Tickets purchased for the group can be checked in on any day within the event series (and only once)
If none of these should negatively impact your events or ticket sales, then you should be fine to proceed with this combination–otherwise, you may wish to wait until full support for recurring tickets is made available later.
I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions! ๐
July 10, 2017 at 2:25 pm in reply to: Renewal licence key for Events Calendar Pro is not working #1318613Caroline
MemberHi John,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out, and I’m so sorry for the trouble here! License keys that are generated for individual product purchases are associated exclusively with the original purchasing account, and these licenses cannot be transferred between accounts by renewing with a different account. Creating a new account or logging in with a different account when renewing a license key will cause our renewal software to process a renewal for a license key that does not exist, resulting in issues such as those that you experienced here.
We’re happy to assist with email address changes or manual license key “transfers” (whereby a new license key is purchased or generated for the receiving account) over in email. In the future, should you need to perform any such administrative tasks, you can reach out to us for assistance using our contact form! We can take care of your renewal issue here quickly, but we just need to confirm a few bits of information outside of the public forums first–would you mind dropping us a quick message using this form? (Please select the option “Help accessing my account” from the drop-down menu to display the full email form.)
Let me know if you should have any other questions or concerns here! Thanks so much, and we’ll see you over in email! ๐
July 7, 2017 at 7:45 pm in reply to: Event Tickets โ Mailing attendees and keeping RSVP information in the browser. #1317751Caroline
MemberHi Ricardo,
Thanks so much for your interest in our Event Tickets plugin! I’m happy to answer these questions for you:
- Attendee information (including email addresses) is stored for all users who RSVP to your events, and you can access and/or export this data as needed for contacting your attendees. You can read more about working with attendee data on our Knowledgebase here! If you use MailChimp for handling email tasks on your site, you might consider the third-party plugin Event Calendar Newsletter, which provides a number of additional features and integrates nicely with our plugins. (Please note that this plugin is not developed by us, and we cannot provide support for any issues that may occur related to its use.)
- If you’ve installed Event Tickets Plus on your site and have configured your plugin settings to only accept RSVPs from logged-in users, you can provide your users with the option to log in and edit their RSVPs at a later date. You can learn more about how to set this up on this Knowledgebase article!
I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions! ๐

MemberHi there,
Thanks for getting in touch! While Event Aggregator supports scheduled imports from a number of sources, including Google Calendar, iCal, and Facebook, I’m afraid that the scheduled import of CSV files is not available at this time. All imports of CSV files must currently be performed manually as one-time imports. ๐
I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news here! Please don’t hesitate to let us know if you should have any other questions or if there’s anything else that we can do to assist!

MemberHi Jonathon,
Thanks for getting in touch! While we don’t offer any built-in import or export options for Salesforce inย Event Aggregator, you may be able to bring existing Salesforce data into The Events Calendar if you’re able to export this data in CSV format. You can learn more about CSV imports and how they work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here.
I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Victoria,
Thanks for reaching out! Feel free to place your order forย Community Eventsย without worry whenever you’re ready to do so–you can easily upgrade a Personal license to Business or Agency right from your account if you should need to add more site activations to your license key. We have a Knowledgebase article right here to walk you through the process from start to finish! Give it a look over, and let us know if you should have any questions after that! ๐
Cheers, and thanks again!
July 7, 2017 at 3:54 pm in reply to: Pro version – multiple dates for a single event + widget for an html page #1317710Caroline
MemberHi David,
Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out our plugins! ๐ If you’re looking to have multiple separate dates for a single event on your calendar, you can achieve this with Events Calendar PRO‘s recurring event functionality. This feature allows you to create events that repeat on a regular schedule (such as weekly, monthly, etc.), or you can use the single event scheduling type to place events on specific dates that may not follow any particular pattern. The second setup sounds like it may be the best fit for your needs–I’d suggest giving it a try to see how it works for you! You can learn all about recurring events in Events Calendar PRO and how to set them up on our Knowledgebase here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-recurring-events/
As far as embedding options for non-WordPress sites, I’m afraid that we don’t offer any solutions for static HTML sites or non-WordPress CMSes at this time. Some of our users have had success using iframes in the manner you indicate here to drop in embedded calendar views–this may be an option if you’re willing to experiment a bit! Should we expand our offerings to include products such as these in the future, we’ll be sure to announce it here! You can always keep up with our latest product releases and other TEC news by following us on Facebook or Twitter or subscribing to our newsletter.
I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you should have any other questions!
