ParticipantHi
I need to purchase for Community Events add on for a website. I’m not sure yet whether I will need in next month for another website. Is it possible to purchase the licence for one, and then upgrade if I do need it again next month?
ThanksJuly 7, 2017 at 6:59 pm #1317742Caroline
MemberHi Victoria,
Thanks for reaching out! Feel free to place your order for Community Events without worry whenever you’re ready to do so–you can easily upgrade a Personal license to Business or Agency right from your account if you should need to add more site activations to your license key. We have a Knowledgebase article right here to walk you through the process from start to finish! Give it a look over, and let us know if you should have any questions after that! 🙂
Cheers, and thanks again!

ParticipantHi Caroline
Thank you for your response, I will be purchasing the upgrade today.
I am not a developer myself, but I have someone who will be installing the
Events Calendar Pro for me, so sorry for the basic question!
I do have another question for you – I wish to use the calendar to show
three types of entries: events, training courses and meeting room bookings.
The events and training courses can be shown together on one of my web
pages. But I wish to show the meeting room hire entries on a different web
page.Is it possible to use just one calendar license for this? So all the
information is keyed into the one calendar, but I can select which
category/ies are shown to the users on two web pages (within the same
website).Thank you

MemberHi Victoria,
Thanks for following up! No worries at all–we’re happy to assist with any and all questions here! 🙂 You can definitely use just one calendar license and installation to show unique events on different pages of your site. Our [tribe_events] shortcode (included as a feature of Events Calendar PRO) will allow you to embed specific calendar views into your pages, filtering your events by criteria such as category, tags, featured status, and more. You can read more about how to use this feature on our Knowledgebase here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/
Let me know if you should have any other questions here! Cheers, and thanks again!
