    Hi Brendan,

Thanks so much for taking the time to bring this issue to our attention! It looks like we do have a bug ticket logged to address this issue in our plugins–though I’m afraid I don’t have a timeline for when a fix might be available, I can assure you that our dev team is hard at work getting one ready to ship! ๐Ÿ™‚ In the meantime, this forum thread appears to offer some solutions that might resolve these problems on your site:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/google-structured-data-and-time-offset/

I’d suggest giving these tips a try for the time being! I’ve noted your thread here on our ongoing bug ticket, and we’ll follow up as soon as a fix is available via plugin update.

Thanks again, and let us know if there’s anything else that we can do to assist! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi David,

Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out our plugins! ๐Ÿ™‚ If you’re looking to open up event creation to multiple users and would like for each registered user to be able to manage only their own events, it sounds like Community Events might be just the solution you need. With the free version ofย The Events Calendarย set up to power your calendar and events, you can add on Community Events to add support for user-submitted events, and the free Event Tickets plugin provides RSVP support (so participants can register for your events). You can learn more about each of these products from their product pages linked here.

I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi there,

Thanks for getting in touch! As our company operations are located exclusively in the USA, we do not have a VAT number for EU tax purposes. If you require a separate invoice to reflect this information, please send us a brief email with your order number, and we’ll generate a new invoice with “N/A” marked in a VAT number field for your records. (Please select the option “Help accessing my account” from the drop-down menu to display the full email form.)

I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let us know if you should have any other questions!

    Hi Karen,

Thanks for following up! While Personal licenses for most of our products (such as Events Calendar PRO) are limited to a single activation per license key, this doesn’t apply to the license tiers for our Event Aggregator product. Each Event Aggregator license, regardless of type, can be installed on up to 10 separate site URLs, so you can easily install it on multiple sites, if needed. However, in your case, I’d simply suggest the following:

    • Install The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO on the main hub site
    • Install The Events Calendar and Event Aggregator on the other site
    • Create your events on the main site
    • Set a scheduled import using Event Aggregator on your other site to bring in those events, using the Other URL import type and the URL of your main hub site

You may wish to adjust your import settings to bring in new events with Draft status so that you can remove any unneeded events before publishing. The Refine option can also be used when creating your scheduled import to filter events by one or more keywords, which can be helpful if all of your imported events will contain a specific keyword.

Let me know if you should have any other questions or concerns regarding this process–I’d be happy to try and clarify further! ๐Ÿ™‚ Cheers, and thanks again!

    Hi Penny,

Thanks for following up–so sorry to hear about the trouble with our email notifications, though I’m glad that you thought to pop by! ๐Ÿ˜€

Ticket numbers are assigned incrementally, yes; a ticket number will typically begin with several letters and/or numbers that represent an abbreviated version of the post or event slug, with the actual number following after a hyphen. For example, tickets sold for an event titled “New Year’s Eve” might be numbered as follows: NYE-1, NYE-2, NYE-3, etc.

We’re happy to offer a full 30-day refund policy for all of our products, so you’re absolutely free to try them out and see how they work for your setup before committing. Should you discover that they’re not an ideal fit for your needs, you’ll find our refund request form on the policy page linked above–just fill it out and submit, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi Steve,

Thanks so much for stopping by and checking out our plugins! ๐Ÿ™‚ If you’re looking to sell tickets rather than simply collect free RSVPs for your events, it sounds like Event Tickets Plus is going to be the best fit for your needs. This plugin builds upon the core functionality of the free Event Tickets and adds support for payment processing and order management using the e-commerce platform of your choice.

For your intended setup here, I’d suggest creating multiple ticket types for your event, with each type corresponding to a block of time on the event day and limited to a given number of tickets. You can learn more about how to create tickets and different options available for setting ticket stock on this Knowledgebase article.

Ticket inventory does remain up to date as tickets are purchased for a given ticket type–to ensure that ticket orders will process automatically and stock counts will be automatically updated, we recommend using WooCommerce for payment processing and configuring it to automatically mark orders as completeย as they’re submitted. It’s also worth noting that ticket counts may be inaccurate if the page showing stock numbers is not refreshed for a period of time; if you anticipate that this may be a problem, you may wish to prompt users to refresh before attempting to complete a ticket purchase.

Regarding mass emails to ticket buyers, the easiest way to achieve this for the moment would likely be to export a list of your event’s attendees and grab email addresses from there to compose a group email. We do have a number of additional email features for attendees coming to future releases; you can follow the progress of these features on their UserVoice pages if you’re interested!

I hope that helps to answer some of your questions here–please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any others! ๐Ÿ™‚ Cheers, and thanks again!

    Hi Alessio,

Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here! The [tribe_events] shortcode is only available as part of Events Calendar PRO and is not included with our free core plugin The Events Calendar. If you’re interested in making the move to PRO, you can learn more about it from the product page linked above! We’d be more than glad to answer any questions you might have about it here in our pre-sales forum–feel free to follow up with a new thread at any time! ๐Ÿ™‚

I hope that helps! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to let us know if there’s anything else that we can do to assist!

    Hi Adam,

Thanks so much for your interest in our plugins! While new plugin purchases with us include 12 months of plugin updates and premium support by default and will expire 1 year from the original purchase date, expired licenses can still be used on activated sites (except for Event Aggregator), and you can add additional site activations to an expired license, as well. However, it’s worth noting that you aren’t strictly limited to a single year of full functionality! You can renew your licensing with us at any time before or after a plugin has expired to gain an additional year of updates and support. You can read more about license renewals for our plugins on our Knowledgebase here.

I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi there!

Thanks so much for getting in touch! I’m afraid that we’re not equippedย to provide technical support for current plugin users here in our pre-sales forum. We’d be more than happy to assist you at one of the following locations:

If you can, please take the time to confirm in your post that you’ve run through our conflict testing steps prior to contacting us–this will save us a step and help us to get your issue resolved that much quicker! ๐Ÿ™‚

Thanks again, and we’ll see you in the forums!

    Hi Hendrik,

Thanks for following up–so sorry to have been the bearer of bad news here! ๐Ÿ™ If you’re interested in seeking out other users who may have solved similar issues on their own sites, I’d suggest submitting a new post with the details of your problem over on our WordPress.org forum for The Events Calendar. You’ll find the largest community of active users there who may be able to point you in the right direction; this forum is intended primarily for pre-sales inquiries, so you’re less likely to find what you’re seeking here. It’s free to post on WordPress.org, and we’ve got a great community of helpful users on board there–we do hope you’ll consider joining us! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Hi Hendrik,

Thanks so much for your kind words here–we’re thrilled to hear that you’ve had a great experience with The Events Calendar so far! ๐Ÿ™‚ Unfortunately, our plugins don’t include support for booking functionality at this time, and there is no built-in option for disabling specific days on our datepickers. If you’re interested in having this feature developed for your site, I’d suggest reviewing our Themer’s Guide, which provides all the info you’ll need to get started with customizing our plugins, or you can check out our list of third-party developers to find someone to develop this functionality for you.

I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let me know if there’s anything else that we can do to assist!
