MemberHi Dion,
Thanks for reaching out! I’m happy to report that you should be able to achieve this functionality with Community Tickets–we’ve built all of our plugins from the ground up to be as customizable as possible, and our ticket templates are no exception. You’ll find all the info you should need to get started with customizing our plugins and templates over in our Themer’s Guide. In particular, look for this template file, which is the template that’s used to render our ticket emails:
/wp-content/plugins/event-tickets/src/views/tickets/email.php
If you’re not comfortable with editing PHP or CSS to get just the look you’re going for, we maintain a list of third-party developers who work with our products and are more than happy to take on projects such as these. I’d suggest reaching out to any one of them for more details! π
If you’d like to change the word “tickets” on your site to something else, we’ve provided a snippet to achieve that, as well. You’ll find it right here on our Knowledgebase.
I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Ricardo,
Thanks for stopping by! At the moment, I’m afraid that we don’t offer any automatic syncing functionality for full calendars created with The Events Calendar or Events Calendar PRO. Users may export events (either individually or as a group) to import into the third-party application of their choice, but these exports are static files, and events that are exported and brought into another application will not change if the original event is updated.
We do have an existing feature request on UserVoice for something very similar that may meet your needs, if you’d like to cast your vote for this suggestion:
For now, I’d suggest that the best way for users to keep up to date with events that are posted to your site would be to subscribe to your calendar’s RSS feed. You can learn more about RSS feeds for calendar events on our Knowledgebase here.
I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions! π

MemberHi Kenneth,
Thanks for reaching out! We do offer all of our bundles, including the Importer Bundle, at all license tier levels, though certain tiers are not prominently advertised on our product pages due to limited demand. We’d be happy to assist you with ordering our Importer Bundle at the Agency level via email–would you mind taking a moment to drop us a quick message? (Please select the option “Help accessing my account” from the drop-down menu to display the full email form.)
Thanks again, and we’ll see you over in email! π

MemberHi Hans,
Thanks so much for reaching out–these sound like some pretty solid suggestions across the board! I’ll be happy to pass along your feedback regarding suggested minor enhancements to our developers. Would you mind taking a moment to share your feature request in a new post over on our UserVoice forum? Our products team regularly monitors UserVoice for new feature requests, and submitting your idea here will allow other users to vote or comment, as well! It’s definitely the best way to get your suggestions on our developers’ radar.
We hope you’ll also consider paying a visit to our WordPress.org or premium support forums for any issues you might be experiencing with date pickers on your site–we’d love the opportunity to assist there! π
Thanks again for your support, and let us know if there’s anything else that we can do for you!

MemberHi Paul,
Thanks for reaching out! While Events Calendar PRO does not come with a theme of its own, we’ve developed all of our plugins to integrate well with your existing theme’s styling for a clean, seamless aesthetic. That said, if you’re referring to our WP Shindig demo site, we do offer this theme to users who’d like to use it, though it’s worth noting that it’s provided with no guarantees or support. If you’d like to learn more or download a copy, you’ll find all you need to get started at the following link:

I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let me know if there’s anything else that I can do to assist!

MemberHi Paul,
Thanks for reaching out! Our Events Calendar PRO product expands upon the functionality of our core calendar offering, The Events Calendar, adding support for features such as recurring events, location-based searching, and additional calendar views. Community Events similarly extends the core feature set of The Events Calendar to add support for user-submitted events, so you can receive and manage event submissions from your site visitors.
If you believe that you’ve purchased the wrong product by mistake, we’d be glad to sort that out for you. Simply fill out our refund request form, and we’ll take care of the rest. π
Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi James,
Thanks so much for your interest in our plugins! I’d be more than glad to take the time to answer your questions here. π
- All new plugin purchases with us (including our Unlimited licenses, which offer an unlimited number of site activations per license key) include the plugin itself plus one full year of free updates and premium support. Users who wish to continue receiving support and updates may choose to renew for additional years after the first year; if you should chooseΒ not to renew, the plugin itself will continue to work, though you will no longer have access to plugin updates as they become available. We also can’t guarantee that future updates to WordPress itself won’t affect the functionality of your premium plugins. (Note that Event Aggregator is unique in that it will not continue to function without an active subscription; this is due to Event Aggregator employing our own cloud-based servers for performing import tasks.)
- Our Multisite license tier allows for a given plugin to be activated on an unlimited number of sub-sites within a single multisite network; due to the wide variation in multisite network sizes, we don’t offer different-sized tiers for multisite licensing, nor do we have any plans to add different multisite license types in the future.
I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi James,
Thanks so much for giving The Events Calendar a try–we’re glad to have you here with us! π If you’re interested in moving up to the added functionality of Events Calendar PRO, it couldn’t be easier to make the jump. Events Calendar PRO simply builds upon the core feature set of The Events Calendar rather than replacing it entirely, so you don’t need to worry about making a complicated migration when adding PRO to your site. Simply install and activate Events Calendar PRO right alongside The Events Calendar on your WordPress site, and the added features of PRO will be ready to use, with all of your existing events and settings fully intact. We’ve provided a new user primer to make it even easier, if you’d like a little guidance as you’re working through the process.
I hope that helps to address your concerns here! π Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Brian,
Thanks for stopping by–we’re thrilled to hear that you’re considering our plugins for your band’s website! π With the exception of our product bundles, which cover a variety of uses and are a great value for larger purchases, all of our plugins are offered a la carte at this time. This does mean that you’ll need to purchase Events Calendar PRO and Event Aggregator separately, should you require the features of both plugins. However, Event Aggregator works just fine with either of our calendar offerings, so you can certainly use it with the free version of The Events Calendar if you’re on a limited budget. You always have the option of adding on Events Calendar PROΒ at a later date!
If you believe that your group may qualify (through your school or a similar parent organization), you might also consider our nonprofit partnership program, which allows qualifying nonprofit organizations to use Events Calendar PRO (without support) for free and provides discounts on our other plugins. You can find our program details and a link to our application form at the above link, if you’re interested in learning more! π
I hope that helps to get you started here! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Nicolas,
Thanks for reaching out to us here–great question! When reviewing your Event Aggregator settings, if you’re wanting to ensure that edits to your imported events are preserved on subsequent imports, you’ll likely want to choose the third option for event update authority:Β Preserve the most recent change in each event field, whether that change occurred on my site or at the original source. This selection will ensure that Event Aggregator favors the most recent change to any field on a given event, regardless of where that change was made. To use your example, if you were to import an event from Facebook that did not have an event description, you could add a description to the event on The Events Calendar after your import, then import the event again–since no changes had been made to the description field on the Facebook event after you’d edited the description on theΒ imported event, the field wouldn’t be changed on subsequent imports.
I hope this explanation helps to clarify things a bit! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions! π

MemberHi Amber,
Thanks for following up–I’m so sorry for any confusion here! If I’m understanding you correctly, Events Calendar PRO shouldn’t be required for what you’re attempting to do here. Just to be sure IΒ do understand, though, are you wanting to have two separate sets of events, each displayed on their own calendar page? As long as the following are true, you should be able to maintain two separate calendars of events using the category views described here:
- Each venue has its own unique category, and no other events are assigned to that category
- Each venue has its own unique set of events
- Each event for a given venue is assigned to the category for that venue
It’s worth noting that these category-based calendar views are just that–different views–and they won’t change the content of your main calendar (which is displayed by default at [yoursite.com]/events). Your main calendar will always contain all of your events, regardless of your category setup. However, using categories to create calendar views in this way can be useful if you just need to provide easy access to a specific calendar of events.
If you’re still having trouble or if you’d just prefer to have another set of eyes to review your setup, I’d be more than glad to take a look at your site and see how your category views are currently displaying. Feel free to reply here with a link, and I’ll review and see if I can provide any suggestions. π
I hope that helps! Thanks again, and as always, please let me know if you should have any other questions!

MemberHi Aaron,
Thanks so much for your purchase of Events Calendar PRO! I’m happy to report that Filter Bar does include support for all of PRO’s exclusive calendar views, including the ever-popular Photo View. You can try out this combination for yourself on our WP Shindig demo site–simply select “Photo” from the View As menu, then expand the filters pane and start picking some filters! Here’s a direct link to the Photo View to get you started:

I hope that helps! Thanks again, and please don’t hesitate to follow up if you should have any other questions! π
