    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out!

    1) I took a look at the page, but I’m not quite sure what you’re referring to here…I am not seeing anywhere on my end that has two dropdowns. Could you please send me a screenshot?

    2) The red dots are likely coming from your theme styles. Can you try changing the “Default stylesheet used for events templates” and “Events template” settings under Events > Settings > Display? These affect how much events pages inherit their styling from the theme.

    3) You can disable other views (which will remove them from the options in the dropdown) under Events > Settings > Display > Enable event views.

Let me know how this goes!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

I’m sorry that you’re running into these issues, but I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on.

When events are submitted through the Community Events form on the front end, are they being created on the backend? I would recommend first checking the “Default status for submitted events” setting under Events > Settings > Community > General. If this is not set to “Published”, then events will not appear on the calendar until you publish them.

Regarding the links, can you try running through the steps outlined here as a starting point?

The next step would be to test for conflicts with your theme and other plugins. We have some instructions on doing this here, and if you don’t already have a staging environment, I would recommend the free WP Staging plugin. This will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.

Please let me know how this goes, and if you aren’t able to resolve these issues with the steps above, please share your system info with me as well.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

There are indeed category pages! You can get to them by going to Events > Event Categories, hovering over the category, and clicking “View”. This article has some additional information on event categories. You can also display upcoming events for a particular category anywhere on your site using shortcodes.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

    Hi Francis,

You should be able to delete scheduled imports by going to Events > Import > Scheduled Imports tab, hovering over the import, and clicking “Delete”. Is this not working for you? If not, what happens when you try to delete an import?

Can you please share your system info with me?

As far as deleting them in the database, I would need to check with our developers on a SQL query, but since this should be working from the front end, I would like to help you get this resolved there!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

The date is not displayed in the ticket email by default, but you can enable it by adding the following to the functions.php file of your child theme:

    add_filter( 'tribe_tickets_email_include_event_date', '__return_true' );

Can you give this a try and let me know if it works for you?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi David,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Your best bet here would be to assign categories to each of the events and then use shortcodes to display each of the chapter calendars on a separate page, or to use the category pages that come with the plugin by default. The events for each chapter will still appear on the main events page. Can you give this a try and let me know if it will work for you?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Jeremy,

I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue…due to some changes recently to the Facebook API aimed at protecting users’ privacy, Event Aggregator is now effectively blocked from importing Facebook events. Our team has been able to restore some of this functionality, and we are posting updates here as they become available. If following the instructions listed there does not allow you to import, can you please send me the Facebook link that you are trying to import from? I’ll be happy to test it out on my end!

Once again, I apologize for the inconvenience that this is causing. We are doing our best to get as much functionality as we can restored as quickly as possible, but unfortunately this will depend on what happens with the Facebook API going forward. If you have any questions in the meantime, please let me know!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Bjrn,

I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue…you are correct that following some recent changes to the Facebook API, Event Aggregator is now effectively blocked from importing Facebook events. Our team has been able to restore some of this functionality, and we are posting updates here as they become available. I do apologize for the inconvenience that this is causing. We are doing our best to get as much functionality as we can restored as quickly as possible, but unfortunately this will depend on what happens with the Facebook API going forward. Besides the information posted here, I really don’t have any additional updates right now – how things will work in the future depends on the further changes that are made to the API. If you have any questions in the meantime, please let me know!

    Hi Emma,

Thanks for checking out Events Calendar Pro!

Delinking the events in list view from the single events page and displaying the full description is not a built-in feature of Events Calendar Pro, but you could get this set up with a customization. If you would like to give this a shot, our themer’s guide is the place to start.

Per our forum guidelines, we are not able to provide technical support here in the Pre-Sales forum and are limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations in our premium forums. However, if you do go ahead with Pro and get stuck on this, feel free to reach out to us in our Pro support forum with any questions, and we’ll do our best to point you in the right direction!

We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you would like to take Events Calendar Pro for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

I’m sorry for the delay here…Cliff is out today, so I wanted to jump in and help you out with this until he gets back.

I couldn’t find any functions that output a list of categories excluding those that don’t have upcoming events…what you might need to do is loop through the upcoming events, grab the categories, and then output that list. I found another post where a user has done something similar, so you may also want to take a look at that as an example.

Please note that we are limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations, but we will do our best to point you in the right direction 🙂

    Hi Adrian!

Cliff is out today, so I wanted to see if I can help you out with this until he gets back…We do have another snippet that will remove only the “free” text from the price range. Note that since your site is in German, you may need to replace “Free” in the snippet with “kostenlos”. Can you give this a try and let us know if it gets you closer to what you’re looking for?
