    Hi Rene,

    Thanks for reaching out!

It sounds like you may have already tried the instructions we have in this post for embedding a single event onto a page. I think the [tribe_event_inline] shortcode will do what you’re looking for. It not only lets you embed single events on pages, but it also lets you specify which information you would like to bring in. Much more flexible than just using the URL to embed!

Let me know if that works for you or if you have any further questions!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Are you trying to add events to the main loop? If so, we have a “include events in main blog loop” setting under Events > General that will automatically add events to the feed, no Divi builder required!

If that’s not what you’re looking for or you need further assistance, please let me know!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Varun,

No problem, I am happy to help!

I am not familiar with myCRED and can’t give you a 100% guarantee here, but <span style=”font-size: 0.875rem;”>I did look into it a little bit. It does say that it’s compatible with WooCommerce, and tickets are technically WooCommerce simple products. To buy a ticket, the user adds it to their cart just like any other product. </span><span style=”font-size: 0.875rem;”>Based on this, I don’t see any reason why you wouldn’t be able to allow the use of credits for ticket purchases. Please feel free to test it out though, and if you can’t get it working the way you need it to, we’ll be happy to give you a refund within 30 days!</span>

As always, I’m here if you have any more questions! : )

    Hi Jonathan,

We’ve certainly seen users with more events, but since site performance is impacted by so many factors, it’s really hard to say what an “ideal” number of events would be. Of course, the less events there are to look through, the faster the queries will be, so we always recommend trying to keep that number down.

I wish I had a better answer for you here, but as I mentioned before, performance is something we are constantly looking to improve. I will add this thread to our internal tickets so that when improvements are released, you will be notified via an update on this thread.

I’ll change the status over to “Pending Fix”, but please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help in the meantime!

    Hi Mike,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

While Pro does offer some great features, you do not need it to use Eventbrite Tickets. You do need our free The Events Calendar plugin, but that is all!

Please let me know if you have any more questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Matthew,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

If you are looking to have users enter their own events from the front end, Community Events will let you do that. It comes with a setting to require users to be logged in (or not) to submit events, and if they are logged in, they can view and edit the events they have created, all from the front end. Community Tickets will let them create tickets on these events as well.

If you want users to be able to create events from the admin area, then really this falls under your user permission setup for your site. Events are custom post types, so users would have the same permissions here as with other posts/pages.

Does that answer your question? Please let me know if I can provide more details on anything for you here!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Jason,

Thanks for reaching out! I’m sorry you’re running into this issue.

Event Tickets Plus uses WooCommerce to handle the checkout process, so your PayPal settings are all within Woo.

Once you have enabled PayPal under WooCommerce > Settings > Checkout > PayPal, make sure you have also added your PayPal account correctly. You may also check that you do not have PayPal Sandbox mode enabled. I would recommend reading through WooCommerce’s guide on configuring PayPal to make sure that everything is set up properly.

We are a little bit limited in the amount of support we can provide here, since this functionality is part of the WooCommerce plugin. However, I do want to help you get this figure out, so please let me know if adjusting the settings as mentioned above works for you! I did a quick search around the web for similar issues, and this error message seemed to typically be related to account configuration.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Paul,

Thanks for reaching out! I’m sorry you’re running into this issue.

Your CSS should work, but make sure you are adding it to the Custom CSS area under Appearance > Customize (if you have one) or in the style.css file of your child theme. This will prevent your changes from being lost during updates, where theme and plugin files are overwritten.

I think there may be a simpler solution for you here though…try going into WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory and changing the Stock display format setting to “Never show quantity remaining in stock”.

Let me know how that works for you!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Maria,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Unfortunately there isn’t currently an out of the box way to do this, as this is something that would be handled by the eCommerce platform you are using, such as WooCommerce. I took a quick look around, and I found this free plugin (not an official WooCommerce plugin) that appears to let you do what you are looking for, and also a premium extension from WooCommerce that looks like it will let you do this as well.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Jon,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

You can do this with Event Tickets Plus! There is no limit to the number of fields you can add, but keep in mind that these will be for each attendee in the ticket order, not for the overall order. So if you have 25 questions per attendee, you could wind up with quite a lot of questions on the screen for an order with several tickets.

We don’t currently have a demo of these fields, but we do have a demo of how the ticket order area on an event looks over on wpshindig.com. I took some screenshots of the admin area and the front end form for you. We also offer a full refund within 30 days of purchase, so feel free to test it out!

Please let me know if you have any more questions!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Tracy,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

Yes, Event Tickets Plus will let you do this! It lets you create custom fields on tickets to collect additional attendee info for each ticket, and you can pull up a report of all of your attendees, which you can also export to a csv (you can also choose to check in by scanning QR codes).

Regarding payment processing, Event Tickets Plus works with WooCommerce, so you can set up your PayPal account there and use it for selling tickets. So for cash/check, you could enable those payment options as well and manually complete orders onsite.

While Event Tickets Plus does require our free The Events Calendar and Event Tickets plugins to run, it does not require Events Calendar Pro!

Does that answer your question? Please let me know if I can provide any more details on anything!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Monika,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I tried recreating the issue on my end with the information you’re using but was not able to do so. Is this the first time you’ve tried sending events to Eventbrite, or have you been able to successfully do this before?

The first thing I would recommend is to update to the current versions of WordPress (4.8) as well as The Events Calendar (4.5.6) and Eventbrite Tickets (4.4.5) and see if that solves the issue for you. If not, the next step would be testing for conflicts. If you don’t want to do this on your live site, I would recommend using a plugin like WP Staging that will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Samuel,

    Thanks for reaching out!

There is not currently an out of the box way to do this, but I think the simplest way to do it would be to use a custom registration form and then redirect to the import page (your-site.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=tribe_events&page=aggregator), where they can add their url.

If you want to do something like have them enter the url as a custom field when they create their account and then automatically add the url into Event Aggregator, that would involve quite a bit of customization. We are not currently able to do customizations, but we do have a themer’s guide with some great info on customizing our plugins. We are also here to answer questions and help point you in the right direction!

I hope that helps – please let me know if you have any questions on this.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer
