ParticipantI’m planning to ad blog post with all the info of some events but unfortunately the blogs modules on divi or extra themes doesnt show them because event calendar has custom post types. The only way is throught checking the add to blog loop option and doesnt work for me on those modules.
I tried converting the custom post to blog post but stops showing on calendar.
i dont want to rewrite again the info i just submitted on the event calendar. Ideally i dont want duplicated content, but if there is a 2way sync method i will be happy. Or i think should be a way to just copy the event info on the blog.
i tried to paste the url but is a limited snippet.
i just want all the event page (with map, featured images, venue info, tickets, etc) embed into blog or page
any idea?
thank you

KeymasterHi Rene,
Thanks for reaching out!
It sounds like you may have already tried the instructions we have in this post for embedding a single event onto a page. I think the [tribe_event_inline] shortcode will do what you’re looking for. It not only lets you embed single events on pages, but it also lets you specify which information you would like to bring in. Much more flexible than just using the URL to embed!
Let me know if that works for you or if you have any further questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Rene,
I’m glad to hear that worked for you! Unfortunately, there isn’t currently a similar shortcode for displaying custom fields. The default fields have specific names that the shortcode uses to get them ( {cost}, {start_time}, etc.) but since this isn’t the case with fields you create, it’s a little bit trickier to do the same for custom fields. However, I can see how something like {custom_fields} would be a useful feature. I would recommend posting it in our Feature Ideas forum, which we use to gauge user interest in new features and help plan for future development.
I’m sorry I don’t have a better answer for you here, but please let me know if I can help you with anything else!
Thanks,
Jennifer
