    Hi Rodney,

    Thanks for reaching out!

It sounds like you were looking to add a link in your main menu to your calendar page? If so, you can do this by going to Appearance > Menus and using the Custom Links option to add in a direct link to your calendar page (see screenshot).

If you need any further assistance, can you please post this question in our Events Calendar PRO forum? We use the Pre-Sales forum to answer questions about the features of our premium plugins for those interested in purchasing them.

If you have not purchased one of our premium plugins, you can post in our community forum on wordpress.org, which we review weekly to check for bug reports. If you need more in-depth support, you will need to purchase a license.

Our knowledgebase is a great place to start looking for answers. You can also search our premium forums to see if another user has posted about a similar issue.

    Thanks,

    Hi Ellen,

    Thanks for reaching out!

It looks like you purchased a license for Events Calendar Pro. Event Aggregator is the extension that allows imports from Facebook – I’m sorry about the confusion there! However, they are the same price, so I could go ahead and switch over the license for you if you would like. You would not need to make any additional purchases.

Let me know if you would like me to make the switch!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Hassan,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

While Event Tickets Plus does have an option to display attendees on the event page, only showing them to certain users would require a bit of a customization. Our themer’s guide has some great info on customizing our plugins, so I would recommend taking a look at that if you’re interested in doing so.

We do not currently do customizations, but if you have any questions along the way, we are happy to answer questions and help point you in the right direction over in our premium support forums.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Jaeden,

    Thanks for reaching out!

We actually have an article with instructions on changing strings around your site. Alternatively, you could use the tribe_get_events_title filter, found in wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/functions/template-tags/loop.php, to change the $title string. Note that you will not want to edit that file directly, as doing so will result in your changes being lost the next time the plugin is updated.

Let me know if you have any questions!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hello,

The Events Calendar Pro license costs $89 and is good for one year, which means during that year, you have access to our premium support forums and also to the newest versions of the plugin. After the year, you would need to renew the license to continue updating the plugin and receiving premium support.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Thanasis,

Thanks for checking out our plugins – we actually have a wide variety of features available with our premium plugins.

With The Events Calendar, our free events plugin, you have the option to feature events. Our plugins do not deal much with memberships…you do have the ability to control whether users need to have an account to do things like submit events on the front end with Community Events, RSVP for events with Event Tickets, or purchase tickets with Event Tickets Plus.

Additionally, we have Events Calendar Pro, which adds features like recurring events and additional calendar views (week, map, and photo), and Filter Bar, which provides advanced filtering capabilities to help your users quickly find events relevant to them. Event Aggregator will let you import events quickly and easily from a variety of sources including Facebook and Google calendars and also lets you schedule automatic imports.

You can see a full list of our premium plugins and extensions here.

If you have any questions on anything or are looking for specific features, please let me know and I’ll be happy to provide more details! We do also offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase if you’re not satisfied with the products, so if there’s something you’d like to try out, feel free to do so!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Brittany,

    Thanks for sharing those screenshots!

The link you sent is password protected. Would you be able to remove the password requirement temporarily so that I am able to take a look at that page? You can also do this in a testing environment if you prefer. WP Staging will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.

Regarding the image, once you upload it under the Tickets section and save the event, it should still appear there on the edit event screen (see screenshot). It does not appear on the front end view of the event, but it is used in the ticket email that users receive when they purchase tickets. You can set a featured image for the event, which will appear on the front end view of the event.

Were you able to find anything testing for conflicts?

    Hi William,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

Event Tickets Plus on its own will actually let you do what you are looking for, although Events Calendar Pro has some great additional features like additional calendar views (photo, week, and map) and shortcodes. In our free and Pro versions, events on the same day are separated from each other. You can see some examples over on wpshindig.com.

Using Event Tickets Plus, you can control the stock available on a per ticket basis or globally for the event – (see screenshot of ticket edit screen). This is all handled directly on the event edit screen. Checkout and payment processing are actually handled through either WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads, both of which are free plugins and do come with PayPal integration.

I’d also like to mention that we do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase if you’re not satisfied with the products, so feel free to give them a test run and see if they’ll work for you! If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Henry,

tribe_events is indeed the correct post type, so it should work with WP_Query. Are you using any other arguments besides ‘post_type’?

We do have a function similar to WP_Query specifically for pulling events: tribe_get_events. You can use many of the same arguments with it as you can with WP_Query.

Let me know if that works for you!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

Absolutely, you can purchase just Event Aggregator to use with The Events Calendar (free) for $89. Events Calendar Pro is not required for any of our other plugins or extensions.

    Hi Jane,

Absolutely! That’s what our Community Events plugin is all about. It lets users submit events from the front end of the site and lets you control things like what status submitted events go into (so that you get the opportunity to review and approve them before they are posted on your site’s calendar), whether or not users need to be logged in to submit an event, and if you want to receive an email notification when new events are submitted.

If you’d like users to be able to sell tickets for the events they create, Community Tickets will let you do that.

We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so feel free to test out the plugins. If you have any other questions, please let me know!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Brittany,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I think the difference you are seeing in the Settings section is from not having The Events Calendar installed. It’s not required to use Event Tickets or Event Tickets Plus – you can add tickets to post types other than events. However, some of the options you see in the screenshots are event-specific, so they won’t show up without having The Events Calendar installed.

Regarding the tickets, can you go into WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory and verify that “Enable stock management” is checked? It looks like you’re running an older version of WooCommerce, so I would recommend updating to the latest version as well.

I’m not quite sure what’s going on with the image…are you saying that you add an image, save the post, and the image disappears after the page reloads? I did some testing on my end but was not able to recreate this issue. Could you please try testing for conflicts with your theme and other plugins and let me know what you find?

    Thanks!

    Hola Antonio,

    Bienvenido a nuestros foros!

Puede poner una fecha lejos en el pasado en el campo “Fecha” y entonces seleccionar la provincia que contiene un error, buscar, y debe ver el evento con esa provincia (vea esta pantalla).

    Dígame si esto ayuda!

    Gracias,

    Jennifer

    Hola Alejandro,

    Bienvenido a nuestros foros!

    Gracias!

    Jennifer
