Absolutely! That’s what our Community Events plugin is all about. It lets users submit events from the front end of the site and lets you control things like what status submitted events go into (so that you get the opportunity to review and approve them before they are posted on your site’s calendar), whether or not users need to be logged in to submit an event, and if you want to receive an email notification when new events are submitted.
If you’d like users to be able to sell tickets for the events they create, Community Tickets will let you do that.
