    Hi Charlie,

    Thanks for reaching out!

We actually have an extension that will allow you to do this. You can upload and activate it like a regular plugin, and then you should get an option to edit attendee information in your Attendees list.

Let me know how that works for you!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Mark,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Community Events will let you create a front-end submission form that will allow users to create events without having to have access to the back end of your site. It does allow you to choose whether or not to require users to be logged in to submit events, and you can also set the status the events go into after they are submitted. Selecting “draft” for example will give you the chance to review and approve the event before it appears on your calendar with your other events.

The front-end form has the same options as the event details section on the back-end event edit screen.

We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase if you’re not satisfied with the products, so feel free to test them out!

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Moritz,

    Thanks for reaching out!

That setting actually controls where the ticket form displays on the events page, which comes from our free plugin The Events Calendar. You can add tickets to other post types (The Events Calendar is not required to use Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus), but since that setting won’t have any effect on them, it is only displayed when The Events Calendar is active.

If you do decide to use The Events Calendar, we also have an (unofficial) extension that will allow you to use a shortcode to display the tickets section within your post content – please see this post for more information.

I hope that clears things up, and please let me know if you have any questions!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Ron,

    Thanks for reaching out!

There is unfortunately not an out-of-the-box way to add validation to the attendee fields at this time. We do however have an open feature request for it, and I would definitely recommend casting your vote! You could also add some validation yourself via a customization. If you’d like to give it a shot, our themer’s guide is the place to start. We have a list of recommended developers as well if you’d like to get some help with the code.

Adding helper text falls into a similar boat…there isn’t currently an option for it, but it is possible with a customization. I would recommend taking a look at the template files found at wp-content/plugins/event-tickets-plus/src/views/meta.

I’m sorry I don’t have a better answer for you here, but please let me know if you have any questions! We are not currently able to do customizations, but we are more than happy to answer questions and help point you in the right direction if you get stuck!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Jomcy,

    Thanks for reaching out!

It sounds like our Event Tickets plugin might be what you are looking for. While it does not create buttons to indicate interest, it does allow you to create tickets that will allow users to RSVP, meaning to indicate if they are going or not going (see screenshot).

To get the buttons, you would need to do a customization. We are not currently able to do customizations, but our themer’s guide has some great info on customizing our plugins and is the best place to start. We also have a list of recommended developers if you would like to get help with the code.

If you need further assistance with this, could you please post this question in our Event Tickets Plus forum? We use the Pre-Sales forum to answer questions about the features of our premium plugins for those interested in purchasing them.

If you have not purchased one of our premium plugins, you can post in our community forum on wordpress.org. If you need more in-depth support, you will need to purchase a license.

Our knowledgebase is a great place to start looking for answers, or you can also search our premium forums to see if another user has posted about a similar issue.

    I hope that helps!

    Hi Tiffany,

    Thanks for reaching out!

Unfortunately this is not an out-of-the-box feature in Events Calendar Pro or Event Tickets Plus but can be added with the code that you mentioned. I definitely understand not wanting to dive into the code! However, as a premium license holder, you would have access to our Premium Support Forums. We are currently not able to do customizations, but we are always happy to answer questions and help point you in the right direction if you get stuck.

I’m sorry I don’t have a better answer for you, but please let me know if you have any other questions! We do also offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase if you’re not satisfied with the products, so feel free to test them out!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

The tribe_get_start_time function should also help if you decide to edit the template.

    Hi Robert,

    Thanks for reaching out!

This can be done, but it will require a bit of a customization. We have a guide here on adding the time to the event title on the calendar, which gives you some code you can add to your functions.php file in your child theme.

If you would like more control over how the time displays, you can also edit the template directly by following these instructions. The template you’ll want to copy is the single-event.php template found at wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/month.

I hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Jan,

    Thanks for reaching out!

This is not a feature that is available in our Pro version, but we do have an extension that will allow you to do this. However, please be aware that this extension is not an official add-on and is therefore not supported.

    I hope that helps!

    Hi John,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

With the shortcodes that come with Events Calendar Pro, you have a lot of flexibility to display calendars around your site using widget shortcodes or full calendar view shortcodes, with the option to filter by categories and tags.

There is not currently and out-of-the-box way to hide certain categories/tags from the main calendar, but you could do so with a quick customization – see this post as an example.

We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase if you’re not satisfied with the products, so feel free to test them out!

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

in reply to: Why i have no all the options with Event Tickets Plus? #1342823

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out!

The options you are referring to actually come from The Events Calendar, our free events plugin. While it is not required to be able to use Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus, most of our users to use it in conjunction with the ticketing plugins, which is why you see it in the demo videos. If you would like to get the events functionality along with those options, you can download it here. Please note that the options do relate to events, not tickets.

Tickets are technically products themselves, so the “Products” post type is not listed as an option to add tickets to. Originally, products were included as an option but were later removed as several users were experiencing conflicts. However, it is possible to enable them – please see this post for the code and instructions.

I hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi David,

Thanks for reaching out! I’m glad to hear you were able to find one solution already.

Unfortunately, the [tribe_events] shortcode does not currently support multiple categories. I’m sorry for the bad news here! We do have an open request for this feature, so please do cast a vote for it. Our Feature Ideas Forum is what we use to gauge user interest in new features and help guide future development efforts.

For the time being, a workaround would be to create a parent category for the multiple categories you want to display, and then add that parent category into the shortcode.

Let me know how that works and if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Jan,

Thanks for reaching out! I took a look at your site, and the calendar and events appear to be displaying correctly. Were you able to get this resolved?

If this is still an issue, could you please try testing for conflicts with your theme and other plugins (if you haven’t done so already)?

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Chris,

No worries at all! To add another item, try using the Additional Fields that come with Events Calendar Pro. These will allow you to create custom fields that will display in the box alongside the venue, organizer, and other event details.

Removing the links is possible but will require a bit of a customization. You can follow the instructions in our themer’s guide to copy the following template into your child theme:

    Organizer template: wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/modules/meta/organizer.php

    -Change line 34 to
    <?php echo tribe_get_organizer( $organizer ) ?>

    Venue template: wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/modules/meta/venue.php

    -Change line 16 to
    $website = tribe_get_venue();

Finally, you can change the arrows in the Mini Calendar Widget template, which you can find here (see line 31): wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/views/pro/widgets/mini-calendar/grid.php

I hope that helps, and please let me know if you have any questions!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

    Hi Sarah,

I looked through our forums and internal tickets and did not see any issues related to PMP. However, that does not necessarily mean there aren’t any. We code all of our plugins according to WordPress best practices, so they should work well with other plugins that do the same. Issues do pop up though, which is why it’s always best to test them out in a development environment before implementing them in your live site.

I hope that helps, and please let us know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer
