ParticipantDear Modern Tribe team,
About half a year ago my website was built using Paid Memberships Pro, Modern Tribe’s “The Event Calendar Pro” and Modern Tribe’s “Tickets Plus” (WooCommerce) all plugged into a “Total” theme on my WordPress website.
Do all of these plug ins function properly together or is there still problems? I had to get a programmer to do some hard coding to connect PMP to WooCommerce so logged in members could access everything via their “members section” once logged into PMP.
I am hesitant to update plug ins – could you please let me know the current status of their compatibility?
Sarah

KeymasterHi Sarah,
Thanks for reaching out!
I understand where you’re coming from, and compatibility is definitely something to keep an eye on when updating, especially when there are customizations involved!
I’m not aware of any issues involving Paid Memberships Pro, but really the only way to make sure would be to upgrade and test it out. If you do not currently have a testing environment, the WP Staging plugin will create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.
If you do notice any issues while testing, you can then follow our testing for conflicts guide to determine where the issue is coming from. Make sure that you have WP_DEBUG enabled while doing so, and if you see any error messages, copy and paste them here. Sharing your system information and any relevant screenshots would be helpful as well.
Per our forum guidelines, we are very limited in the amount of support we can provide for conflicts and customizations, but I’ll be happy to take a look and see what I can recommend!
Thanks,
Jennifer

ParticipantSo – they are compatible plug ins usually? I previously could not get the plug inso to connect int he membership area – my developer had to create a button for the customer to click to take them from the PMP members section to the Tickets member section.
But – thanks for all that above info. I will forward it to my web developer next week when they update all the plug ins.

KeymasterHi Sarah,
I looked through our forums and internal tickets and did not see any issues related to PMP. However, that does not necessarily mean there aren’t any. We code all of our plugins according to WordPress best practices, so they should work well with other plugins that do the same. Issues do pop up though, which is why it’s always best to test them out in a development environment before implementing them in your live site.
I hope that helps, and please let us know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer
