KeymasterThanks for clarifying…from your first screenshot, I was thinking that you wanted to add the link to the events in photo view. Sorry about the confusion!
For a single event page, you will need to copy over and edit the template found at wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/single-event.php.
Since this is not from the Pro plugin, you’ll want to add your copy of this file directly into the “tribe-events” folder that you created in your child theme, not into the tribe-events/pro folder.
Let me know if that works better!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Robert,
I’m sorry about the delay – <span style=”font-size: 0.875rem;”>Can you make sure that you are running 4.6.1.1 for </span><em style=”font-size: 0.875rem;”>both<span style=”font-size: 0.875rem;”> Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus? I know you mentioned updating Event Tickets Plus, but running an older version of one but not the other could cause this problem, as we made major changes to the ticket interface with recent updates. One other thing that you can check is that you have either </span>WooCommerce<span style=”font-size: 0.875rem;”> or </span>Easy Digital Downloads<span style=”font-size: 0.875rem;”> enabled. It doesn’t look like you currently have either of these activated, but Event Tickets Plus does require one of them to be able to create tickets. </span>
Please let me know if that gets it working!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Martin,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
Event Tickets Plus will let you sell tickets to your courses, and it does have a setting for you to require users to be logged in to purchase tickets. If you use WooCommerce as your ecommerce platform, you can take advantage of some of its features with tickets, such as coupons. There are several options available for restricting coupon usage, and you may also look into third party extensions for additional features. I did a quick search and found this one. You would really need to test it out to make sure you can get it working exactly the way you want.
Event Tickets Plus does support global (shared) stock on tickets. So for each event, you can set a total number of tickets available, and then you can set each ticket to subtract from that stock. This article has some more information on the options available when creating tickets.
We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Event Tickets Plus for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Oliver,
One method that you can use to protect from spam is to require users to be logged in to RSVP, which you an do under Events > Settings > Tickets. If you’d like to use reCaptcha, you could do this with a customization (please see this post for more information). Our themer’s guide is also a great place to start when doing customizations!
If you’d like to see additional spam prevention measures built in to a future release, could you please let us know over in our Feature Ideas Forum? This is what we use to gauge user interest in new features and help guide future development efforts.
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Krishna,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
Avada actually adds its own styling and integration for our plugins, and there are also a few other themes that are known to integrate well with our plugins. I would recommend taking a look at this article on which themes are compatible with our plugins. If you’d like to see some examples of The Events Calendar and our premium extensions in action, definitely take a look at our Showcase section!
Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Amy,
Thanks for reaching out!
You can still access your attendees list after the event has passed by clicking the “View Attendees” button on the event edit page. Are you not able to access this list for past events? You can also export the list from there, which you can then use to send out a post-event survey through another plugin or your email management platform.
Does that answer your question? Please let me know if I misunderstood what you’re looking for or if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Melanie,
Thanks for reaching out! The filters are actually a feature of Filter Bar, not Events Calendar Pro. It looks like you actually already have a license for Filter Bar, so you should be able to install it from the Downloads page. Let me know if you’re not able to do so or if you have any questions on getting it up and running!
You are also entitled to a full refund within 30 days of purchase – if you don’t need Pro, you can fill out the form on this page, and we’ll process the refund for you.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterNo problem Stefan! If you have any questions on getting set up with Pro or run into any issues, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us in our premium support forums.
Have a great weekend yourself!

KeymasterHello,
Thanks for reaching out!
First I want to mention that recurring events currently have limited support for tickets. You can add tickets to the series as a whole, but not separate tickets to each date in the series. I’m sorry for the bad news there! We are currently working on building out this functionality for a future release. I would recommend casting your vote on this feature request so that you can stay up to date as we make progress on this!
For the time being, your best bet may be to create individual tickets for each date (they will be displayed on every event in the series). Are you looking for tickets (attendee records) for the individual dates to be automatically generated when someone purchases a season pass? There is not currently an out of the box way to do this, but you could potentially do it with a customization. Alternatively, since tickets are essentially WooCommerce simple products, you may be able to find a third party plugin (such as one of these) that would do something like link the individual tickets to the season pass so that they are all added to the cart automatically when a user adds a season pass.
I’m sorry I don’t have a better solution for you at the moment, but I hope this helps! If you have any questions, please let me know.
Thanks,
Jennifer
Jennifer
KeymasterHello,
Event Tickets provides RSVP functionality (for free events) and collects attendee names and emails by default. If you need custom fields, Event Tickets Plus will let you create them.
Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Kyle,
There is not currently a way to do this out of the box, but you could do it with a customization. I would recommend taking a look at this post as a starting point. This example is aimed at logged-in users in general, but you could customize it for specific users or user roles if you’d like.
Our themer’s guide and functions list should also be helpful. We are not currently able to do customizations, but if you get stuck or have any questions, please let me know! I’ll be happy to point you in the right direction.
Thanks,
Jennifer
November 30, 2017 at 11:28 pm in reply to: Append Message After Front-End Community Add New Organizer Fields #1396364Jennifer
KeymasterHi Diana,
Thanks for reaching out!
Just to make sure I understand correctly, you want the message to appear only after the “Add another organizer” button has been clicked? If so, you would need to first copy the template for that page (found at wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/src/views/community/edit-event.php) into your child theme by following these instructions. You can then edit your copy from there and add in the message. To display it when the button is clicked, you would need to add a little bit of Javascript. This type of customization is a bit outside the scope of the support that we’re able to provide here in the forums, but if you get stuck or have any questions, please let me know! I’ll be happy to see what I can recommend.
Thanks,
Jennifer
November 30, 2017 at 11:17 pm in reply to: Seminars and Events and Attendee Download Section #1396359Jennifer
KeymasterHi Matthias,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
It sounds like you need Event Tickets Plus. This will allow you to sell (paid) tickets for the events on your site, and since it integrates with WooCommerce, you’ll be able to sell regular products as well. Users can add buy multiple tickets at once, so they can purchase tickets for as many people as needed. Event Tickets Plus also comes with the ability to create custom fields, so you can use these to collect additional information for each attendee if needed.
There is not currently an out of the box way to add downloadable content for users who purchase tickets, but you could potentially do this with a customization. Since tickets are essentially WooCommerce simple products, you can use several WooCommerce extensions in conjunction with tickets.
To allow users to select an entire seminar or specific dates, your best bet may be to use the recurring events feature that comes with Events Calendar Pro. However, it is important to note that recurring tickets (individual tickets on certain dates in a series) are not currently supported, although we are working on building out support for them in the future. This means that for an event series, you would need to create a “general” ticket (for the whole seminar) as well as individual tickets for each date. All tickets would show up on all dates in the series, so users would need to select the correct ticket for the date they want to attend. Alternatively, you could create custom fields on tickets for a series so that users can indicate the date/time they would like to attend. There are still some limitations with this method; for example, you could control the stock for the tickets for the whole series, but not for each individual date.
We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase if you’re not satisfied with the products, so feel free to test them out! Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Jared,
Thanks for reaching out! The month view of the calendar should show past events by default. Is this not the case on your calendar, or are you referring to a different view? You can also find past events at [your-site]/events/past, or the “date” parameter in the shortcodes can be set to any date in the past, which will then display all events, past and future, from that date forward.
To include past events by default in other views, you could do a customization. Our themer’s guide is the place to start if you’d like to give this a shot! We also have a list of recommended developers that you could contact if you’d like to get help with the code.
I hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer
Jennifer
KeymasterHi Melanie,
Unfortunately tickets for recurring events are actually on the series, not separate tickets on individual events. So, no matter which date in the series a user adds a ticket from, it will actually be the same ticket that gets added to the cart. I’m sorry for the bad news!
We are currently working on adding support for recurring tickets in a future release. I’d recommend casting your vote for this feature request so that you can stay up to date as we make progress on this feature. This also helps us gauge which features our users are most interested in!
I’m sorry I don’t have a better answer for you at the moment, but please let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer
