    Hey Events Calendar Team,

I see many plugins here and I don’t know what is the best solution for my clients website.

    The Scenario is:

    — We want sell different Products Seminars and Events or Meeting.
    — Each event/seminar may contain several dates.
    — The customer/atendee can select the whole Event or specific Dates.
    — The customer/atendee can booking for more then one person.
    — The customer/atendee can reserve or buying the event date/s.
    — Attendees can download different learning material for each booked appointment in download section

What do you think is the best solution? Which plugin combination is needed?

    Many Greetings
    Matthias Honert

    Hi Matthias,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

It sounds like you need Event Tickets Plus. This will allow you to sell (paid) tickets for the events on your site, and since it integrates with WooCommerce, you’ll be able to sell regular products as well. Users can add buy multiple tickets at once, so they can purchase tickets for as many people as needed. Event Tickets Plus also comes with the ability to create custom fields, so you can use these to collect additional information for each attendee if needed.

There is not currently an out of the box way to add downloadable content for users who purchase tickets, but you could potentially do this with a customization. Since tickets are essentially WooCommerce simple products, you can use several WooCommerce extensions in conjunction with tickets.

To allow users to select an entire seminar or specific dates, your best bet may be to use the recurring events feature that comes with Events Calendar Pro. However, it is important to note that recurring tickets (individual tickets on certain dates in a series) are not currently supported, although we are working on building out support for them in the future. This means that for an event series, you would need to create a “general” ticket (for the whole seminar) as well as individual tickets for each date. All tickets would show up on all dates in the series, so users would need to select the correct ticket for the date they want to attend. Alternatively, you could create custom fields on tickets for a series so that users can indicate the date/time they would like to attend. There are still some limitations with this method; for example, you could control the stock for the tickets for the whole series, but not for each individual date.

We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase if you’re not satisfied with the products, so feel free to test them out! Please let me know if you have any questions.

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
