GuestHello, I am looking for a solution for booking events and courses on an alpine club website. They need to consider about different scenarios:
One person, already a club member, want to book a ticket for a course. The member will get a discounted price. The member will be identified by the membership number. The same person wants to book a second ticket which is for a friend which is no member and have to pay the full price.
The amount of tickets is limited. But there is just one amount of tickets. There is not one amount for discounted and one for full price tickets. So every ticket booked will reduce the amount of tickets by one.
Can this be handled with event tickets plus?

KeymasterHi Martin,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
Event Tickets Plus will let you sell tickets to your courses, and it does have a setting for you to require users to be logged in to purchase tickets. If you use WooCommerce as your ecommerce platform, you can take advantage of some of its features with tickets, such as coupons. There are several options available for restricting coupon usage, and you may also look into third party extensions for additional features. I did a quick search and found this one. You would really need to test it out to make sure you can get it working exactly the way you want.
Event Tickets Plus does support global (shared) stock on tickets. So for each event, you can set a total number of tickets available, and then you can set each ticket to subtract from that stock. This article has some more information on the options available when creating tickets.
We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Event Tickets Plus for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
