Unfortunately tickets for recurring events are actually on the series, not separate tickets on individual events. So, no matter which date in the series a user adds a ticket from, it will actually be the same ticket that gets added to the cart. I’m sorry for the bad news!
We are currently working on adding support for recurring tickets in a future release. I’d recommend casting your vote for this feature request so that you can stay up to date as we make progress on this feature. This also helps us gauge which features our users are most interested in!
