KeymasterHi Shah,
I’m sorry the automatic update isn’t working for you…can you try updating manually by following these instructions? Please let me know if this works!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Denise,
Thanks for reaching out! I took a look at your site, and I believe the link is not showing up because the later upcoming events are actually instances of a recurring event. As a test, can you try adding an event at a later date (March for example) and see if the link appears?
I would also recommend updating Events Calendar Pro to the current version (4.4.19). If you don’t see a prompt to update in the Plugins section of your Dashboard, you can do so manually by following these instructions.
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Damian,
There is not currently any built-in functionality that would allow you to create badges based on tickets, but you might be interested in our free PDF Tickets extension. This creates PDFs of tickets, which you could then print and use as badges. Another option would be to export the attendee list and then import it into a third-party platform to create the badges for each attendee.
I’m sorry I don’t have a more straightforward solution for you here, but I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions,
Thanks,
Jennifer
December 8, 2017 at 9:29 pm in reply to: Automatic Multi Ticket Discount + Linking To WooCommerce Product? #1401792Jennifer
KeymasterHello,
Thanks for reaching out! There is not currently a way to discount tickets automatically based on quantity, but you could do this either with a coupon or by using a third-party plugin for WooCommerce, such as WooCommerce Dynamic Pricing.
Tickets are essentially WooCommerce simple products (no need to create a separate product for tickets), so you can typically use extensions like these with tickets the same way you would normal products. However, you would need to test this out to be sure that you can get it working the way you would like.
If you’d like to see this functionality built-in in the future, please let us know over in our Feature Ideas Forum. This is what we use to gauge user interest in new features and help guide future development efforts.
Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Brian,
Thanks for reaching out! I’d recommend taking a look at this article, which has some good information on adjusting the events template, which might take care of the date for you (the events pages do not display the published date by default, so this is likely coming from your theme). Another option would be to hide the date with CSS.
I’d be happy to help you further with this, but first will you please post this question in our Events Calendar PRO forum? We use the Pre-Sales forum to answer questions about the features of our premium plugins for those interested in purchasing them.
If you have not purchased one of our premium plugins, you can post in our community forum on wordpress.org, which we review weekly to check for bug reports. If you need more in-depth support, you will need to purchase a license.
Our knowledgebase is a great place to start looking for answers. You can also search our premium forums to see if another user has posted about a similar issue. If you’re having trouble with plugin functionality, the best place to start is by testing for a conflict.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Rob,
Can you try adding “!important”? I tested this out on my end, and it is showing the full title (see screenshot).
Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,
Jennifer
December 8, 2017 at 8:42 am in reply to: Manually import google calendar events into your Event Calendar? Avada theme #1401404Jennifer
KeymasterHi Kathleen,
Thanks for using The Events Calendar! Without Event Aggregator, you can import via CSV. I would recommend taking a look at the following articles for more information on how this works:
Importing Data from a CSV File
If you want to import directly from other sources (such as Google calendars), you would need Event Aggregator.
Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,

December 8, 2017 at 8:36 am in reply to: Can Organizers or user send out invites similar to Evite? #1401395Jennifer
KeymasterHi Steve,
Thanks for reaching out!
Unfortunately there is not currently any invite functionality built in to our plugins. I’m sorry for the bad news there! Depending on how you would like this to work, you may be able to use a third-party plugin to get something similar set up. I did a quick search and found Better Notifications for WordPress and WP Post Email Notification (I have not tested these out). Something like this may be able to at least get you sending out notifications when new events are created.
If this is a feature you’d like to see added in the future, please do let us know over in our Feature Ideas Forum. This is what we use to gauge user interest in new features and help guide future development efforts.
I’m sorry I don’t have a better answer for you at the moment, but please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer
December 8, 2017 at 8:28 am in reply to: Cannot get Calendar PRO community features to show – no event submission form #1401297Jennifer
KeymasterHello,
I’m sorry that you have not able to get to the submission form for Community Events!
The Events Calendar (our standard events plugin) is actually required for Community Events, so you do not need to disable it.
You can find the link to the community event submission page by going to Events > Community: Submit Event from the admin bar at the top of the screen (see screenshot). If you haven’t done so already, I’d also recommend taking a look at this article, which has some good information on getting set up with Community Events. These articles on Community Tickets may also be helpful:
New User Primer: Community Tickets
Community Tickets: Configuring PayPal and Split Payments
Community Tickets: Tracking Sales and Getting Paid
I hope that helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Devon,
I’m sorry you’re not able to add tickets, but I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on.
Do you see the +New Ticket/+New RSVP buttons in the Tickets section of the event edit screen? If not, c<span style=”font-size: 0.875rem;”>an you please send me a screenshot of what you see in the tickets section of the event edit screen? I would also recommend taking a look at the following articles:</span>
New User Primer: Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus
Settings Overview: Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus
If you do see the buttons, are you able to any information for a new ticket, and if so, does it not save to the event?
If you haven’t done so already, testing for conflicts with your theme and other plugins is also an important troubleshooting step. The free WP Staging plugin will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing if you don’t want to do this on your live site.
Please let me know what you find!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Robert,
This would require a customization, but I think the easiest way to do this would be to create a custom field on the event and then include that field in the ticket email (example of how to do this here). If you want to hide that field from the event page on the front end, you could do this either with CSS or with a PHP customization (if you go with PHP, I would recommend taking a look at the additional-fields.php template as a starting point, which you can find at wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/views/pro/modules/meta).
We are a bit limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations, but I hope this helps get you started! If you get stuck with the code or have any questions, please let me know, and I’ll be happy to point you in the right direction.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterPerfect, I’m glad that worked for you! I’ll go ahead and close out this thread, but please feel free to open up a new one if you have any other questions!

KeymasterHi Ruta,
I’m sorry you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on!
Just to clarify, are you referring to recurring events? I’m not exactly sure what you mean by events falling off of the calendar/back end…are you missing past events? If so, I would recommend taking a look at what you have set for your Clean up recurring events after setting under Events > Settings > General. This helps keep your site performance up by automatically deleting instances of recurring events after a certain amount of time.
Please let me know if adjusting that setting fixes the issue for you, and if not, can you please provide some more details on what is going wrong?
Thanks,
Jennifer
December 8, 2017 at 6:13 am in reply to: when creating a events with ticket that events can not publish #1401169Jennifer
KeymasterHi Ronak,
I’m sorry you’re not able to create tickets, but I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on!
First, can you try updating to the latest versions:
The Events Calendar – 4.6.7
Event Tickets – 4.6.2
Event Tickets Plus – 4.6.2
If you don’t see a prompt to update in the Plugins section of your Dashboard, you can do so manually by following these instructions.
If this is still occurring, the next step would be to test for conflicts with your theme and other plugins by following these instructions. If you prefer not to do this on your live site, the free WP Staging plugin will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.
Let me know what you find!
Thanks,
Jennifer
