    Hi Chris,

    Categories are a default option in Filter Bar, and additional fields are added as options when you create the fields. So, you can really use both or either one. You can see a demo of Filter Bar over on wpshindig.com. Categories do have their own pages that display all upcoming events for that category, so if you would like to use these pages for anything, this might be the way to go.

    Hi Ángela,

    Are you trying to display the end date of the last date (occurrence) in the series? If so, where would you like it to display? As I mentioned previously, we are limited in being able to support customizations, but if you can clarify what you are looking for here, I’ll try to get an answer for you!

    Hi Melissa,

    Thanks for checking out Event Tickets Plus! This is not currently a feature of that extension, but it does support WooCommerce as an ecommerce platform. Since tickets are essentially WooCommerce simple products, Woo extensions typically work well with our plugins. I know some of our users use Dynamic Pricing and Discounts or WooCommerce Memberships to handle this type of functionality, so I would definitely recommend looking into that in conjunction with Event Tickets Plus as a possible solution.

    There is an open feature request for this over in our Feature Ideas Forum, so if you have a minute, please cast your vote for it. This helps us gauge user interest in new features and help guide future development efforts.

    Hi Ángela,

    There is not currently a way to create an event without any date, but you could do a customization to hide the date (or hide the event from particular views, like month view for example). One way to do this would be by using categories. We are a bit limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations, but if you can provide some more details on how you would like this to work, like where you want the events to display or not display, I’ll be happy to point you in the right direction!

    Hi Uwe,

    I wanted to give you an update on this…we actually do have an extension that will let you hide venues/organizers in the community submission form from users that did not create them. If this is something that you still need, I would recommend giving it a try!

    Hi Leslie,

    I’m sorry you haven’t been able to change the links…I took a look at your site, and it looks like you may have gotten the links updated on the single event page (see screenshot). It sounds like you are customizing the correct code in the single-event.php template:

    • « %title%' ) ?>
    • »' ) ?>

    If not, can you please send me a copy of your single-event.php file (preferably as a gist)? I’ll be happy to take a look and see what I can recommend.

    Hello,

    Thanks for reaching out! I’d be happy to help you with this.

    You can remove the image upload section by customizing the template. We have instructions on how to do that here in our themer’s guide, and the template you’ll want to grab can be found at wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/src/views/community/edit-event.php. Once you’ve copied it over into your child theme as described in the themer’s guide, you can remove the following line:

    Did you try changing the color for featured events under Appearance > Customize > The Events Calendar > General Theme > Featured Highlight Color? You might need to clear your browser’s cache after changing it to be able to see the difference. If it’s still not showing up, you can try changing the “Default stylesheet used for events templates” setting under Events > Settings > Display. Finally, you may need to add some custom CSS. If needed, the following should override the color for you:

    .tribe-event-featured {
    background: #fff !important;
    }

    Hi Michael,

    For the color, did you try changing the “Default stylesheet used for events templates” setting under Events > Settings > Display? You might need to clear your browser cache after changing it to see the results. If you aren’t able to get it changed from within the settings, then you can also add some custom CSS. We typically don’t write custom CSS for users, but if you can send me a link to an event page with the white text, I’ll be happy to see what I can recommend!

    Unfortunately your file didn’t attach, but after you’ve copied it into your child theme by following the instructions here, try removing the following section from it:

    Since this does not sound like it’s exclusive to ticket orders and setting the order status lives in the realm of WooCommerce, this is going to be outside the scope of support that we are able to provide here in our forums. I would recommend first testing for conflicts to see if there is something else interfering (I did a quick test on my end with this plugin but was not able to recreate this issue – orders are autocompleting for me) and then reaching out to the plugin author if you need further assistance.

    I’m sorry that I’m not able to help you out with this, but if you run into any issues with Event Tickets Plus or Events Calendar Pro, please let me know!
