KeymasterHi Lisa,
Thanks for reaching out!
To restrict ticket sales to members, you can check the Require users to login before they purchase tickets option under Events > Settings > Tickets.
Regarding charging different prices for different levels of users, this is not something that is currently a feature of Event Tickets Plus, but you might be able to get it working with your membership plugin (tickets are essentially WooCommerce simple products). We are limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations and integrations with third-party plugins, but I will try to point you in the right direction here.
This might be easiest to set up using the full WooCommerce product page to sell tickets instead of selling them in the default ticket box directly on the event. The default form will not integrate with third-party plugins like the one you are using by default, but you could change this with a code customization. If you would like to give this a shot, our themer’s guide is the place to start! We also have a list of recommended developers that you could contact if you would like to get help with the code.
If member-level ticket pricing is a feature that you would like to see added in the future, please do let us know over in our Feature Ideas Forum! This is what we use to gauge user interest in new features and help guide future development efforts.
I’m sorry that I don’t have a more straight-forward solution here, but I hope this helps get you started! Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Paula,
I’m sorry that you are running into this issue! You are correct that that extension is not compatible with the current versions 🙁 sorry for the bad news there!
While we try our best to offer and maintain these extensions to provide some extra functionality when we can, they are not actively maintained and supported as our paid plugins are. However, I know that there are several users like yourself who have been requesting an update to this particular extension, and we are working on getting an update released. Unfortunately I don’t have a timeline as to when this might come out, but I will check with our developers on Monday to see if I can get a status update for you.
I’m sorry for the inconvenience this is causing! If you prefer, you can downgrade to the last versions that the extension does work with: Event Tickets 4.5.7 and Event Tickets Plus 4.5.6.
I’ll get back to you as soon as I hear from our developers.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Chris,
This is unfortunately a known issue with the current version, but the good news is that the fix has been developed and will hopefully be included in the next maintenance release (pending testing). I don’t have a timeline as to when this will be released at the moment, but I linked this thread to our internal ticket for this. As soon as we have an update, we’ll let you know here.
I apologize for the inconvenience this is causing! Thank you for your patience as we work on getting this resolved.

KeymasterHi Melih,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
Users can submit events from the front end of the site using Community Events. With The Events Calendar, categories can be assigned to events, and each category will have its own page by default, which shows all upcoming events for that category. You can use the shortcodes that come with Events Calendar Pro to display events by category on different pages of your site.
You cannot search by categories using the default Tribe bar (which lets you search by keyword, date, and location) that comes with The Events Calendar, but you can filter by categories using with Filter Bar. You can see a demo of this over on wpshindig.com, and this article reviews how Filter Bar works and some of the options that are available with it.
We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Events Calendar Pro or any of our other extensions for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Alyssa,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
By default, users will be able to select all venues and organizers in the system, not just the ones that they’ve created. If you want to restrict these to only the ones that they have created, this will require some custom coding. However, users can indeed create recurring events from the front end.
We do offer full refunds within 30 days of purchase, so if you’d like to take Community Events for a test run, feel free to do so! Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Al,
I’m sorry that you’re running into this issue, but I’ll be happy to help you figure out what’s going on.
This does sound odd – I am not able to recreate the issue on my end, and I don’t see any other similar reports from other users, which makes me think that there is something on your site conflicting with our plugins. Can you first check for Javascript errors by right clicking on the page, clicking “Inspect”, opening up the console, and trying to recreate the issue? If you see any errors, please copy/paste them here.
Can you switching to a default theme like Twenty Seventeen with all other plugins besides The Events Calendar deactivated and WP_DEBUG enabled and try running an import again?
Please let me know what you find!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Mary,
I took a look at your homepage, and the shortcode appears to be working now (see screenshot). Were you able to get this resolved?
If not, can you please copy/paste the shortcode that you are using on that page into your reply so that I can test it on my end? Please share your system info with me as well.
Thanks,
Jennifer
Jennifer
KeymasterHello,
From the attendees screen, you should see an option to export the attendee list. This article has some more info on how to do this. Can you give this a try and see if it works for you?
If you are seeing something different from what is in the screenshots in this article, can you please send me a screenshot of what you do see? Please note that if you reply via email, attachments will not be included. You will need to login and upload them directly to the thread. If you can share your system info with me, that will be helpful as well.
Thanks,
Jennifer
February 23, 2018 at 2:46 pm in reply to: Event ticket plus description not in the ticket email #1462463Jennifer
KeymasterHello,
Thanks for reaching out!
You can add the ticket description to the ticket email and PDF by doing a customization. We are a bit limited in the amount of support that we can provide for customizations, but I’ll be happy to point you in the right direction.
To customize the ticket template, you’ll want to follow the instructions in our themer’s guide to copy the template into your child theme, where you can edit it. You can find the template at wp-content/plugins/event-tickets/src/views/email.php.
If you’d like to have the code done for you, we do have a list of recommended developers that you could contact.
If you get stuck or have any questions, please let me know!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Dan,
Unfortunately we are not able to provide any support here in the Pre-Sales forum, but I would recommend starting off by taking a look at the following articles:
New User Primer: Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus
Settings Overview: Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus
Managing Your Orders and Attendees
You can also try searching our knowledgebase and Help Desk to see if another user has posted about a similar issue. If things are not working as described in the articles, the best place to start is by testing for a conflict.
If you do go ahead with Event Tickets Plus and are still not able to get tickets to show up, you can reach out to us in our Event Tickets Plus premium forum (please make sure to share your system info when you do), and we’ll be happy to help you out over there!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Tamara,
You can change this text by following the instructions in our themer’s guide to copy the templates for the views that you want to change the titles for into your child theme for editing. For the list view, the template you’ll want to copy can be found at wp-content/plugins/src/views/list/content.php. The title is set on the following line:
You can also place the following in the functions.php file of your child theme, replacing “Custom text” with your new title:
function tribe_change_list_view_title ( $title ) {
if ( tribe_is_list_view() ) {
$title = 'Custom text';
}
return $title;
}
add_filter( 'tribe_get_events_title', 'tribe_change_list_view_title' );Let me know how that works for you!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterGreat, I’m glad to hear that it’s working now!
Since this has been marked “resolved”, I’ll go ahead and close it out. Feel free to open up a new thread if you run into any other issues!

KeymasterHi Beth,
Thanks for clarifying that!
The current versions of our plugins will not work with version 4.4.14 of WordPress (the current version is 4.9.4). What I would recommend is upgrading WordPress and our plugins in a testing site before you do it on your live site. If you don’t have a testing environment already, you can install the free WP Staging plugin, which will let you create a quick copy of your live site that you can use for testing.
If for some reason you are not able to update WordPress on your live site (such as it not being compatible with other things that you have set up and cannot update), then you can also try installing previous versions of Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus. You can find these on the Downloads page of your site, and you can downgrade by following these instructions (it’s the same process for upgrading).
Please let me know how it goes and if you have any questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer

KeymasterHi Shane,
Can you please send me a link to the post where you found the code, along with a copy of the code that you added? Per our forum guidelines, we are limited in how much support we can provide for custom coding, but I’ll be happy to take a look and try to point you in the right direction!
Thanks,
