    Hi William,

    Thanks so much for reaching out!

    As a first step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
    This is usually because of:

    • A conflict with another plugin
    • A conflict with your WordPress theme
    • A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating

    When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.

    A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.

    The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.

    Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

    But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:

    • Make a backup of your database
    • Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)

    Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Joni,

    Thanks so much for reaching out!

    I will investigate your first issue further, as this is something that I can reproduce on my end.

    As for your second issue, customers should be able  to view their tickets (including the PDF of the ticket) by going to the event page and viewing their tickets for the event.  Are you seeing different results?

    Let me know!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    in reply to: Excluding events, possible? #1525144

    Hi Lara,

    Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!

    This feature is not available with our plugins out of the box alone.

    I would say the closest you could get to achieving this would be to utilize the Shared Capacity ticket function, although I don’t believe this would solve your issue of wanting to sell 1 private ticket vs 10 individual tickets.

    If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/

    We have a great 30-day full refund policy, so if things really don’t work out the way you’d hoped, you can get a full refund.

    Also, feel free to check out our demo site here.

    Let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Gert,

    Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!

    • Event

      • Make multiple day events
      • Fields
        • Trip leader (another custom post type)
          • Name
          • Phone
          • Email
      • image
      • Unique event number (#00000 to #99999)
      • Location
      • price (no payments online)
      • Max number of registrations (if selected)
      • description
    • number of hits or page visits

    • category (taxonomy)

    All of these requirement are available with Events Calendar PRO, with the exception of “number of hits or page visits”.  You may be able to achieve this result with the help of a third-party plugin.

    <ul id=”bbp-topic-0-lead” class=”bbp-lead-topic”>

  • Calendar
    • Show events on calendar with month view
    • export events to outlook or gmail
    • Generate Facebook events (not possible with current Facebook api)
  • Registration (no online payments)
    • Allow event registration when there are places available
      • What are the possibilities to avoid spam?
        • Only allow registered users? What about visitors?
        • Confirm registration via email if it is for the first time?
    • keep a number of registrations
    • people can make registration for more than one person
    • keep list of email addresses of all who registered (backend)
    • Email confirmation with some details to email address once registered
  • All of these requirements are also available with the addition of Event Tickets Plus.  I would recommend requiring users to log-in before purchasing tickets for an event in order to protect your events from spam.

    Also, feel free to check out our demo site here.

    Let me know if you have any other specific questions!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Nadja,

    Thanks so much for reaching out!

    As a first troubleshooting step, can you try flushing your permalinks by going to Settings < Permalinks and Save Changes.  You will want to clear your browser and site cache as well after doing this.

    If that doesn’t resolve the issue, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
    This is usually because of:

    in reply to: Showing upcomming events in carousell #1525099

    Hi Henk,

    Thanks so much for reaching out!

    Try adding the following CSS snippet to your WordPress Customizer or theme’s stylesheet:

    .tribe-mini-calendar-event {
    width:120px;
    float:left;
    }

    You may need to adjust the width to suit your needs.

    Let me know if this helps!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    in reply to: ical feeds make all day event export as two days #1525092

    Hi Tom,

    Thanks so much for reaching out!

    As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

    In the meantime, you can try adjusting the End of day cutoff to something after midnight, so that the event remains on one day.  You can find this setting under Events Settings < General.

    Let me know if that helps!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    in reply to: Number of Tickets Left #1525086

    Hi Shayne,

    Thanks so much for reaching out!

    Try adding the following snippet to your WordPress Customizer or theme’s stylesheet:

    .tribe-events-tickets .tribe-tickets-remaining {
    display:none;
    }

    Let me know if that helps!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Amy,

    Thanks so much for reaching out!

    There is a Javascript error when you click on one of the recurrence rules:

    I’d recommend starting off by taking a look at our Themer’s Guide, which can show you which templates can be edited and copied in order to achieve the results that you are looking for.

    Hopefully, that can point you in the right direction.

    In the meantime, I’d recommend taking a look at your stylesheets and page templates and see if altering these settings helps you to achieve the results that you are looking for:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/stylesheets-and-page-templates/

    Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Hi Laurel,

    Thanks so much for reaching out!

    You can try having the orders automatically marked as complete, which should help to bypass the issue.  You can add the following snippet to your theme’s functions.php file:

    https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/automatically-complete-orders/

    Let me know if that helps!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Dave,

    Thanks for that information.  I’m not able to replicate this issue using the venues you provided, as they appear properly on the map on my test site.

    If you go to Events Settings < General, do you see any button to Fix Venue Data?  If so, please click that button.

    If that doesn’t resolve the issue, can you try deleting the venue and recreating it?

    Let me know if that helps!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    in reply to: Event date on confirmation email #1525032

    Hi Gianni,

    You can add the following snippet to your theme’s functions.php file:

    add_filter( 'tribe_tickets_email_include_event_date', '__return_true' );

    Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime
