    Hi there,

When we set an event to all day, the ical feed lists the start date, then the next calendar day is listed as the time of the end of the event.

We are feeding the data from Events Calendar PRO to other applications, but they are interpreting the end of the event as the second day, rather than midnight of the actual event’s day.

Is it possible to change the ical output so when a full day event is selected, the end time is shown as midnight on the day of the event?

    Thanks in advance, Tom

    Hi Tom,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

In the meantime, you can try adjusting the End of day cutoff to something after midnight, so that the event remains on one day.  You can find this setting under Events Settings < General.

Let me know if that helps!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Tom,

Thanks for providing me with that information.

Can you provide me with the URL to your iCal that you are importing, so that I can do some testing on my end as well?

Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Tom,

Thanks for providing me with that information.  I exported the May 10 event from your calendar, and imported it into my iCal.  The event remained on May 10 only, which is the expected behavior.

Have you tried this functionality on more than one calendar?  It is possible that the timezone (or the lack of timezone data) on the calendar that you are exporting to may be causing this issue.

Let me know if that makes any difference!

    Thanks,

    Jaime
