KeymasterHi William,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Sometimes it takes a few minutes for the license to activate. Can you try removing the license key and re-entering it and see if it works now?
Can you check if you are connected to the Event Aggregator server by going to Events Settings < Help and scroll down to Event Aggregator Status?
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Sharon,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
I just tested this out on my own site and I’m not able to replicate this issue, as the mini calendar seems to be working as expected.
In that case, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:- A conflict with another plugin
- A conflict with your WordPress theme
- A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
- Make a backup of your database
- Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

You can choose to not show comments for events by going to Events Settings < General and uncheck Show Comments, and Save Changes.
You can disable email notifications for all WordPress comments by going to Settings < Discussion, but there is no way to turn off the notifications just for event-related comments.
Let me know if that helps and if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,

KeymasterHi Paul,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Have you installed an extension to re-label events to courses?
Are these plugins working on your site with this error message showing?
If you disable all plugins, and then just enable the plugins in that list, do you still see the message? What if you do that while also having the Twenty Seventeen theme enabled? If you do not have a staging site, you can generate one quickly with the WP Staging plugin to do testing like this.
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Valerio,
Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!
With The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO, you can create events (or courses) for your site. You can view each course on an individual page and you can even change the label from Events to Courses using the following extension:
https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/change-labels-events-venues-organizers/
You can create and add RSVPs with custom fields using Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus. You can also set the capacity for each course, so that RSVPs cannot be added once capacity has been reached.
We have a great 30-day full refund policy, so if things really don’t work out the way you’d hoped, you can get a full refund.
Also, feel free to check out our demo site here.
Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Greg,
I just wanted to re-open this topic and check in to see if this issue was still occurring.
When looking back at your screenshot, I noticed that one of your Shared Capacity options was missing, as in the following screenshot:

Are you looking to create a shared capacity ticket, or an individual capacity?
Let me know if you’d like to continue troubleshooting this issue!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Karen,
Unfortunately, I could reproduce the same issue on my end. I have logged a bug report for this so it can be addressed in one of our next maintenance releases of our plugins.
I will set this thread’s status as “Pending fix” and link it to the report. This way, we will notify you once a fix is released.
We apologize for the inconvenience and we appreciate your patience while we work on this.
Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Frans,
Community Events actually leaves the “Add Media” feature out intentionally because having it there would cause a WordPress security issue. The form allows specific image types to be uploaded for the Feature Events, but “Add Media” is different in that any file type could be uploaded to your server, including harmful ones. That’s the reason it was left out and why there is no setting to bring it back.
You can try to customize the form on your own. I’d recommend starting off by taking a look at our Themer’s Guide, which can show you which templates can be edited and copied in order to achieve the results that you are looking for.
Please also note that support for customizations is limited as stated in our support policy.
If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:

KeymasterHi Frans,
You can try adding something like the following CSS snippet to your WordPress Customizer or theme’s stylesheet:
wp-switch-editor {
display: none;
}Let me know if that helps!

KeymasterHi Jonah,
I’m sorry to hear that things still aren’t working for you.
Unfortunately, Filter Bar is not completely compatible with WPML, which may be why you are seeing this issue.
You can read more about the integration of our plugins with WPML here:
http://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/wpml-support
Behind the scenes, WPML creates different posts for different languages and in a scenario like this where posts of one type (such as events) are linked to posts of various other types (such as venues and organizers) there’s a chance that those relationships may have broken down.
You may want to try reaching out to their support to see if they have any suggestions for you here:
https://wpml.org/forums/forum/english-support/
Let me know how that goes and if you have any other questions for us!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Christopher,
At this time, I cannot provide any more information on if/when this functionality will return, but we are working to find a solution for our customers.
I wish I had more information to give, but unfortunately I do not. We have had customers try to create workarounds by exporting the Facebook events via .ics and importing them with Event Aggregator that way, but I cannot provide any additional support on this process.
Please let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime
