Hi Laura,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

Can you provide me with the URL that you are trying to import, so that I can do some testing on my end?

Also, can you enable and check the Event Log under Events < Help to see if you see anything unusual?

Right under that is your Event Aggregator Status. Can you take a screenshot of what you see there?

In addition, can you please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see?

Let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Brian,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

After reviewing your request this essentially looks like a custom development task and so is outside of our stated scope of support.

With that being said, we’d love to help point you in the right direction.

I’d recommend starting off by taking a look at our Themer’s Guide, which can show you which templates can be edited and copied in order to attempt the results that you are looking for.

If you’d prefer not to tackle this customization on your own, we may be able to assist you further. We do need to prioritize support requests from other customers at this time but I’ll certainly flag this with the team and – although we can’t make any promises – if we have time and space to come back and help, we’ll be happy to do so. Please let us know if you’d like to go this route so that you can be added to this queue.

In the meantime, if there is any more information you can share (including mocks) that will help us to better understand what you are seeking please do feel free to add them to this ticket.

If you urgently need help with this, however, you may instead wish to consider working with a suitably skilled developer or designer who can offer the additional level of support you require.

Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Luke,

Glad to hear that we have made some progress with this issue.

It sounds like things are working as expected now, which is great!

I’m happy to leave this thread open until it self-closes in three weeks of no activity, in the event that you have any other questions or need further assistance with this issue.

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Event time and dates #1582924

    Hi Emma,

Thanks for providing me with that information

If you “Update Timezone Data”, it will most likely not automatically change the time of all of your events, however it will enable you to have additional timezone options.

Once enabled, you can opt to set the timezone per site or per event, which may be helpful for you.

In addition, you will want to set the WordPress timezone under Settings < General to the correct timezone as well.

Here is more information on working with timezones:

Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!

    Thanks,

in reply to: Tickets left is not updating #1582567

    Hi Kris,

Thanks for giving that a try.

As a next step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
    This is usually because of:

    • A conflict with another plugin
    • A conflict with your WordPress theme
    • A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating

When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.

A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.

The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.

Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:

    • Make a backup of your database
    • Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Search event through a form #1582558

    Hi Caroline,

Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!

With Events Calendar PRO, you can create single events and recurring events. Those events can be viewed in a variety of views, including a Map View.

With the addition of Event Tickets Plus, you can create a ticket so that users can attend your events. You can add custom fields that attendees will have to fill out before making a purchase, which will serve the purpose of a form, as you described.

Additionally, with the use of Filter Bar, users can filter through your events using a number of filters, including custom filters.

Also, feel free to check out our demo site here.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Neil,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

The following forum posts have some more information about how search engines display your data and have some plugin suggestions for how to alter things:

In addition, the following forum post contains a snippet that can disable JSON:

in reply to: RSVP stock amount not correct #1582530

    Hi Brett,

Thanks for providing me with that CSV.

I found it to be a bit confusing, and perhaps that confusion is why this issue is occurring.

Are you importing your events separately from the RSVPs? The best way to do this would be to use the examples provided in the following article and first import your events, and then using the RSVP example CSV, import the RSVPs. Also, I’m not seeing a capacity field on your RSVP CSV, so perhaps that is why there is some confusion with the capacity.

Let me know if that helps!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

I am still not seeing any screenshot attached here. Also, your system information is also not showing up.

Could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

in reply to: Events Tickets Plus Notifications #1582462

    Hi Paul,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

You can change your settings under Events Settings < Tickets and scroll down to WooCommerce Support. From there, you can control when attendee records are generated, which should affect when you receive emails.

Let me know if that helps!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Events are dissappearing… #1582455

Thanks so much for reaching out!

I’m sorry to hear that you have lost your recurring events after updating them.

First off, do you have a backup of your site so that you can revert to the version of your site where your events were present?

As a first troubleshooting step, can you try flushing your permalinks by going to Settings < Permalinks and Save Changes. You will want to clear your browser and site cache as well after doing this.

Also, can you please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see?

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime
