KeymasterHi Robert,
Thanks for providing me with that information!
Can you take a screenshot of what you recurrence rules look like in the Edit Event page for that event? I’d like to try to replicate the event on my test site and see if I experience the same issues.
In the meantime, have a look at some of the information that I provided in my previous reply, to see if anything there can help to speed things up on the back end for you.
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Steve,
Without doing some additional investigating on both of our parts, I don’t have a solution to your specific problem off the top of my head. I’d be happy to help you troubleshoot if you are still interested. Though I completely understand if you’d like to move on and get things working.
Please let me know if you need anything else!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Rodrigo,
Thanks for supplying me with that information. As a next troubleshooting step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:1. A conflict with another plugin
2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
1. Make a backup of your database
2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
In addition, there are a number of mixed content error messages appearing in the console, so I would recommend installing and configuring a plugin, like this one, in order to resolve those errors.
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

I’m sorry to hear that you are having this issue with your recurring event! Is there only one event that you are having this issue with? Would you mind providing me with a link to that event?

KeymasterHi Josh,

I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue with Event Aggregator. As a first step, would you please update your WordPress version and your Events Calendar plugin to the most recent version?
And can you provide me with the URL that you are trying to import where you see the results, so that I can do some testing on my end?
Thanks,
Jaime

Would you mind taking a screenshot of what your Edit Event Page looks like from the back end, so that I can try to recreate the event on my end and replicate the issue?
Also, please update your Event Calendar plugin to the most recent version (4.6.6) and see if the issue is still there.

I am also seeing a notice that your license key is invalid. Can you try deleting it and re-adding it to the Events Tickets Plus License field?
In addition, I would recommend running the WooCommerce data updater, to ensure that all data is properly handled.
Let me know how it goes!

KeymasterHi Richard,
Okay, so it seems that it is something particular about your Facebook account. You may want to investigate your Facebook settings, including your security and privacy settings.
Let’s also do one more check and try to:
– disconnect from Facebook
– in Facebook remove the app access
– reauthenticate from the beginningIn the meantime, I have also reached out to my colleagues to see if there is anything else we can test.
Let me know how this goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Daniel,
Thanks for providing me with that information!
As a next step, let’s update WordPress to the most recent version (4.9) and The Events Calendar as well (v4.6.6). There were some Event Aggregator fixes in the most recent release. Check if you are connected to the server, or if anything changes after that.
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime
