    We recently installed the events calendar 4.6.5, event-tickets 4.6, events-tickets-plus 4.6.0

We updated WooCommerce to latest version and installed these plugins.

When we add event along with ticket details, getting connection lost error. I have attached screenshots.

    Hi Vinna,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

I am also seeing a notice that your license key is invalid.  Can you try deleting it and re-adding it to the Events Tickets Plus License field?

In addition, I would recommend running the WooCommerce data updater, to ensure that all data is properly handled.

Let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Thanks for your reply.

I will send you a private message with the details.

The key is valid, maybe you were looking at the key for another site.

I look forward to having the issue resolved.

    Kind regard

    Hi David,

I mentioned that the key was invalid because there was a message in the screenshot that you provided me with that said that it was invalid.  However, I checked and all looks good on that front now.  Are you still seeing the “connection lost” error?  Does this error appear when you go to the Add Event page, or when you save the ticket, or some other time?  Any additional information about when you see the error appearing would be great!

Can you please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see?

As a next step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
    This is usually because of:

    1.    A conflict with another plugin

    2.    A conflict with your WordPress theme

    3.    A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating

When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.

A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.

The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.

Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.

But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:

    1.    Make a backup of your database

    2.    Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)

Let me know how that goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime
