KeymasterHi Amanda,
Thanks for providing me with such thorough results of your testing. I wish I had better news, but it seems that this is related to a known bug that we are currently working on.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch and we are actively working on a solution for this. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed, as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release. The good news is that you will be contacted as soon as a fix is available.
Thank you for your patience as we see this through. Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime.
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Georges,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing these issues since updating your plugin.
As a first step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:1. A conflict with another plugin
2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
Try creating a ticket with this bare installation to see if the issue still occurs, as well as check if you still see the appearance change in relation to the price issue that you are seeing.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
1. Make a backup of your database
2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi All,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
Unfortunately, this is a known bug that we have discovered in our plugin and we have a report logged for the issue.

KeymasterUnfortunately, for events that have already been created, you may have to manually go in and edit the time (or the timezone) of the event in order for it to be correct. But for events created after you set a timezone, the timezone will be honored and all events should automatically have the correct time.
Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Rodrigo,
Thanks for providing me with that information. Just to clarify, your issue is that some events are displaying the wrong date, correct?
Are you seeing this difference between the front end and back end? In other words, do you see one date on the front end and another on the back end?
I noticed that you have the timezone set per event. It is possible that your timezone settings are inconsistent, which is why it is appearing in different dates.
I’d recommend looking at your WP timezone settings under Settings < General, as well as your timezone settings in Events Settings < General.
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Anwar,
I’m glad to see that we have been able to find the root of the issue.
Unfortunately, The Events Calendar does not support Polylang. As far as multilingual support goes, we officially support WPML for The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO with instructions to set that up here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-up-the-events-calendar-with-wpml/
You are welcome to reach out to Polylang and see if they have any suggestions that may be able to help you get things to play nice together, but you may also want to consider alternative options.
Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Brian,
I’m sorry that this did not work for you. I just tested this scenario with ignored events that I had from your import and was able to make them live. Here are the different ways I tried:
- Restore individual event
- Click on individual event and click Publish in Edit Event Screen
- Choose a bunch of events, Bulk Actions > Edit > Publish
Do any of these methods work for you? If not, try again with a default theme enabled and a minimal plugin setup and let me know if that works.
Also, before doing so, we’ve made a number of updates recently, so please update Events Calendar to the most recent version (4.6.6) and retest as well.
Let me know how all of that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Michael,
Thank you so much for providing me with all of that information. Those screenshots were very helpful. Unfortunately, it seems that this is related to a known bug in our system.
As an alternative, you can try to switch to WooCommerce if you want, in order to keep things up and running optimally for now.
Thank you for your patience as we see this through. Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Tak,
When you get a change to read through the document I provided you with, you will see that you can take a look at the REST API documentation in order to see what you can alter.
I cannot guarantee the customizations that you are looking to achieve, and I am limited in the way that I can assist with customizations as per our Support Policy.
Please let me know if there’s anything else that I can answer for you!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Monty,
You can set your timezone in WP by gong to Settings < General and can set your sitewide timezone there.
You can go to Event Settings < General and change your Timezone Settings to use sitewide timezone everywhere.
Let me know how it goes and if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Karen,
It looks like your Events Slug and your Single Events Slug are the same, which may be the source of the issue. Can you try changing your slugs so that they are different, then reset your permalinks and test if the issue still occurs? You can do this by going to Events Settings < General and Save Changes.
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Alain,
Thanks for providing me with that information! I’m so sorry that you are still experiencing this issue!
I noticed that your Events Calendar PRO plugin still hasn’t been updated. Was this intentional? I’d recommend updating that as well and seeing if the situation improves.
Can you also please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and share any debug messages you see?
Thanks,
Jaime
