ParticipantAs recent as yesterday, Google search was pulling events from the event calendar and showing them in the business info on the right side of search results. Today, they are gone. It shows up for other businesses, so I assume it’s not Google. This has happened to 3 of my sites using the events calendar.

KeymasterHi Monty,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
I’m sorry to hear that your events are no longer appearing in a Google search. Although Google tends to do what it wants, these forum posts may be able to point you in the right direction:

ParticipantSo, the events are showing up again. That’s good, but one of my sites has the wrong event times (they’re not even close). I double checked my WP time settings, as well as the calendar and event settings and everything is set right. Why would it pull the wrong event start time?

ParticipantActually, two of my sites have the wrong times and one is correct.

KeymasterHi Monty,
I’m glad to hear that you are making some progress with having your events show up on Google.
As far as the issue with the wrong time, I see you’re using Yoast SEO; are you able to resubmit a sitemap via Google Webmaster and see if it picks up and displays the correct times? The process may take some time to update in the search engine results.
Also, would you mind first updating your Events Calendar and other related plugins to the most recent versions and seeing if this issue persists? There was a fix released for this issue in a recent release of The Events Calendar.
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

ParticipantSo it appears that I have to set the UTC for each event individually. I thought this was done globally through the UTC in WP settings. Is there not a way to set the UTC for every event in one place?

KeymasterHi Monty,
You can set your timezone in WP by gong to Settings < General and can set your sitewide timezone there.
You can go to Event Settings < General and change your Timezone Settings to use sitewide timezone everywhere.
Let me know how it goes and if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime
