KeymasterHi Kari,
Thank you for providing me all of this information. I am able to see the issue now and I can replicate the issue on my end as well. I believe that this is a bug in our system and I have logged a bug report for this issue.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch and we are actively working on a solution for this. I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed, as it’s in the development team’s hands now. They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release. The good news is that you will be contacted as soon as a fix is available.
Thank you for your patience as we see this through. Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime.
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Alain,
I’m sorry that you are still seeing this issue! Sometimes when you make a drastic upgrade, as it seems that you have, issues can come up. Can you try upgrading your Events Calendar, Events Calendar PRO, Events Tickets, and Events Tickets Plus plugins one version at a time, and checking back to see when the issue occurs?
I would also recommend updating your WordPress version as well.
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Jason,
Would you mind re-sending that link for me? It doesn’t seem to be working for some reason, even when I corrected it as you said. In addition, can you also send me the URL you are importing?
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Karen,
As a next step, can you try flushing your permalinks by going to Settings > Permalinks, and clicking Save Changes. Also, what permalink structure are you using? Have you made any changes to this structure?
Here is more information on permalinks, which may help point you in the right direction:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/permalinks-best-practices/
In addition, you may want to test if this works without customizations. I noticed that you have your Next and Previous links on top of the calendar, which is not the default. Try temporarily removing these customizations and see if it works.
If you are still having issues, you may want to try running through the steps outlined here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/fixing-http-404-errors/
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Anwar,
Thank you for your response. I just want to set expectations up front and let you know that I may not be able to give the perfect solution right off the bat. Everyone has a unique combination of plugins, themes, and code on their site and sometimes it may take a little back and forth before we start to get to the meat of the issue.
I can assure that I can see and understand your issue. I cannot replicate on my own test site, but I will do my best to help you.
As a next step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:1. A conflict with another plugin
2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
1. Make a backup of your database
2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
I noticed that you are displaying the previous and next links above the calendar as well. You may also want to keep in mind that customizations may cause this issue, and see if the issue still occurs without customizations.
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Tak,
I apologize for the delayed response. You may be interested in exploring our REST API, which you can also share with the other plugin you are talking to, in order to see if what you are looking for is possible:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/the-events-calendar-wordpress-rest-api/
If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/
I hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions along the way!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Michael,
Thanks for providing me with that information.
You can disregard the WooCommerce comment, I know you are using EDD. Sorry about that!
At this time, I am not sure of the exact cause of your issue, which is why we typically recommend going through our testing for conflicts procedure, just to rule out (or find) any theme or plugin conflict that can exist. Updates create changes in code and every plugin and theme works individually, without checking in with other themes and plugins to make sure that they are compatible. This is where conflicts occur. So it is possible that this this the culprit, though I cannot be sure, as everyone has a unique combination of plugins and themes on their site.
In addition, would you mind taking a screenshot of the ticket setup that you have on the backend, including all stock settings, so that I can try to replicate on my end?
Please let me know if any other questions come up along the way!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Martin,
I just wanted to reach back out and let you know that it seems that this issue is related to a known bug that we are currently working on.

KeymasterHi Mike,
Thanks so much for reaching out and for starting off with all of that info!
As a first step, I see a few things on your site. As you mentioned the conflict with W3 Cache, you may also be interested in exploring more about minification. You will want to turn off magnification in all situations. This may also be something through your theme as well:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/problems-with-minification/
In addition, there are a number of mixed content error messages appearing in the console, so I would recommend installing and configuring a plugin, like this one, in order to resolve those errors.
If the issue still persists, if you haven’t already done so, I would recommend switching to a default theme and seeing if the error message disappears.
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Anwar,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
As a first step, try flushing your permalinks by going to Settings < Permalinks, and clicking Save Changes.
If that doesn’t resolve the issue, try going to Events Settings < General and unchecking “Use Javascript to control date filtering” and click Save Changes.
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Karen,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
It seems that there are no events on the site you linked to, so I can’t see things in action. However, as a first step, could you try unchecking “Use Javascript to control date filtering” under Events Settings < General?
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime
