Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!

You have lots of options when it comes to timezones and how they display for different users.  You can read all about your options here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/working-with-timezones/

In order to bypass your Single Events pages and have users redirected to custom pages, you can try to use a third-party plugin, like Redirection, in order to achieve the results that you are looking for.

Please let me know if anything else comes up!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

We’re sorry to see you go, I hope things work out for you and your website!

Since you’ve received a refund, I am going to close this thread.

    Have a great week!

    Hi Saif,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

Just to let you know, we are limited by our Support Policy in how much we can help with customizations, but I will try to point you in the right direction.

A good place to start would be our Themer’s Guide, which can show you the views and templates that you can copy and edit in order to help you achieve the results that you are looking for:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/

Let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Hi Brian,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue.  I have tested this scenario for myself and can confirm that you have found a bug in our plugin.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this glitch and we are actively working on a solution for this.

I cannot guarantee when it will be fixed, as it’s in the development team’s hands now.

They need to assign it, code it, test it, and schedule it for release.

The good news is that you will be contacted as soon as a fix is available.

Thank you for your patience as we see this through.  Please let me know if you have any other questions in the meantime!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

    Hi Troy,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/

In the meantime, I would also recommend checking your timezone settings under Settings < General.

Thanks so much for reaching out!

I’m sorry to hear that your site is running slowly with use of our plugins.

As a first step, please have a look at our Performance Considerations and see if there is anything you can adjust in order to help your site run better:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/performance-considerations/

After that, you may be interested in caching, so take a look at this article:  https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/caching-basics/

In addition, you can check out some of the solutions provided in this forum post:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/decreasing-loading-time-for-big-amount-of-events/

I would also recommend looking into some of the plugins in this blog post, as they may be able to help you pinpoint where site slowness may be occurring:

Let me know how it goes and if you need any further assistance on this topic!

in reply to: Presale questions #1405504

    Hi Davide,

Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!

_ Is it possible to manage overlapping events? Or, better, is it possible to avoid that a user sign-up (—> rsvp) for events that overlap?

Out of the box, there is not a way to prevent users to RSVP for multiple events that may overlap.  You can try to create separate calendars for different levels of users in combination with a Members plugin, if that is something that you are interested in:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/making-members-calendar/

_ Is it possible to manually add an user to an event?

As of now, you can edit attendee information manually from the backend, but you cannot add an attendee.

_ (I checked this option in the free version of your calendar) Is there a way to delete the user from an event attendees list when he/she changes his/her rsvp from “going” to “not going”? Because when using the shortcode [tribe-user-event-confirmations] all the rsvp events are shown and not only the “going” rsvp events.

Yes, you can delete an attendee from the backend, in your Attendees Tab.

_ Talking about the [tribe-user-event-confirmations] shortcode: is it possible to show only the list of the events that a user rsvp-ed as “going”?

All events that a user has RSVP’ed to will show up with this shortcode, which does include events they are attending and have RSVP’ed as Not Attending.

_ Is it possible to send out an email reminder to the users which have positively rsvp-ed an event?

Yes, you send out custom emails to your users.  You can also edit the templates of these emails by taking a look at our Themer’s Guide:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

Our products are customizable and may be able to achieve the results that you are looking for with the addition of some customizations.

If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:

    Hi Bob,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

Just to let you know, we are limited by our Support Policy in how much we can help with customizations, but I will try to point you in the right direction.

As a first step, I would recommend taking a look at our Themer’s Guide, which can show you how to safely copy and edit our templates and views in order to work with your child theme:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/

Also, just to confirm, are you saying that your Filter Bar filters do not carry over to the following month?  This is something that should work right out of the box, I have just confirmed this on my site.  If you are seeing this issue, I’d love to help you look into it further.

If so, as a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?

    Hi Marc,

Thanks so much for reaching out!

In general, we tend to only recommend that tool in more extreme cases to remove many recurring events.

As a different, and perhaps gentler approach, I would recommend starting off by adjusting the settings in Events Settings < General.  You can change “Clean up recurring events after” to a smaller time frame to suit your needs.  This should help to clean up events as you go along, while preserving other things set up on your site, such as categories.

Let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Hi Paula,

Thanks so much for reaching out again!

I’m glad to hear that you have been able to make some progress with what you have been trying to achieve.

Just to let you know, we are limited by our Support Policy in how much we can help with customizations, so this request is slightly beyond the support that we can provide.

in reply to: The Events Calendar Pro Stopped Working #1405456

    Hi Ivy,

It appears that your calendar is showing “There were no results found” in list view for December because there are no events in December.  If you go to the search bar and change the date to 1/1/18, you will see that list view works as expected.

It seems that everything is working properly on your site and that once January rolls around, the events will be listed in List View as you want them to appear.

The calendar by default shows the current month, so for now, if you want, you can switch to month view so that users can advance to January if they want.

    Let me know your thoughts!

    Thanks,

    Jaime

in reply to: Differing addresses in event details #1405444

    Hi LeeAnne,

Thanks for providing me with all of that information!

You are correct, the first address is imported as the Venue title, and the second address is listed as the address.  Which is the correct address?  Have you entered both of these addresses?  It sounds like this is happening before it makes it to the import, so as a first step, I would recommend looking into how things are listed on the calendar that you are exporting.

Let me know how it goes!

    Thanks,

    Jaime
