KeymasterHi David,
In general, you can use RSVPs and Tickets in combination with one another for the same event. In other words, you can have one event that has RSVPs (which are free and do not go through WooCommerce) and Tickets (which go through WooCommerce and tend to cost money).
Here is some more information on RSVPs and Tickets:

In addition, the following forum post has some code snippets which may be able to help you set the RSVP default to 1:
Let me know how it goes and if you have any other questions!

KeymasterHi Tracy,
First off, I just want to make sure that you are properly copying and editing templates, to make sure that the plugin works properly. If you decided to edit our plugin, I would recommend creating a copy of the template file that you want to edit, as outlined in the following article (I know I linked here already):
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
This ensures that the plugin stays intact and that when updates become available, you will not lose the changes that you have made.
As a next step, can you try flushing your permalinks by going to Settings < Permalinks and Save Changes. Check if everything works as expected after doing so.
If not, I see that you have Block Roles from Admin enabled. If you disable that, do you see any changes?
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Neville,
I just imported the next five events from the URL that you provided and none of the venues imported for those events.
You can try to export the .ics file from iCal and then when you go to Import, select ICS file, where you can upload the file. You should not have to do any additional altering of the file/URL path.
If you are pasting in the URL by using the iCal import, the file path should look something like this:
example.com/url.ics
I have also attached a Test Event with a venue and venue address that I exported from my iCal, so you can get a sense of what it should look like:
Let me know how it goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterJust to let you know, we are limited by our Support Policy in how much we can help with customizations, but I will continue to try to point you in the right direction.
I’m sorry that you are dissatisfied with our compatibility with some themes. I previously linked to our stylesheets and page templates doc, and that is something that can typically help you get closer to the look you are going for, as you can opt to pull fewer styles from your theme, which gives you more flexibility with the look of your calendar and community pages. Have you been able to give this a try?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/stylesheets-and-page-templates/
Also, as I previously mentioned, you can totally revert back to your old setup for now to get the functionality back to the way you were looking for.
If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:

KeymasterI’m sorry to hear that you are still experiencing these issues! As for the Twentysixteen theme, are you seeing the theme available at all in Appearance < Themes? If so, are you able to/can you see the Activate button if you hover over the theme? If so, can you click it?
Otherwise you can try to re-download the theme by clicking Add New under Themes and search for Twentyseventeen. Once you do that, try switching to that theme and seeing if the issue still occurs.
Let me know how it goes and if you have any other questions along the way!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Tracy,
http://spokanefavs.com/events/ is your main calendar page. You can change the slug of that page by going to Events Settings < General. Unfortunately you can’t edit this page from the WordPress backend. You can copy and edit the template for this page using our Themer’s Guide, if you are interested:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
http://spokanefavs.com/events/community/add is where your Submit An Event form is, which is where the issue seems to be, correct? I can see the issue you are talking about.
It seems that you may have edited the code. Which code did you edit?
I would also recommend trying to flushing your permalinks by going to Settings < General and Save Changes.
Let me know how it all goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterThanks so much for reaching out!
As a first step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:1. A conflict with another plugin
2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
1. Make a backup of your database
2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Cyril,
Thanks so much for reaching out! I’m sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue!
Just to clarify, when do you see this error occur? Is it as soon as you go to edit an existing event? Or is it after you click Update?
Also, please enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG ? This will create a debug.log file inside the /wp-content directory. Please share any errors that you see.
Thanks,
Jaime
